With the NFL offseason mercifully coming to a close, training camps are kicking off and players are unpacking as you read this. Get the scoop on all 32 teams — or just pick out your favorite team — as we hopscotch around the NFL.

NFC EAST
AFC EAST
DALLAS COWBOYS:
Leading man?
That's the biggest question, really the only question remaining about the ability of QB Tony Romo. Even Jerry Jones has admitted that the entire 2009 season is geared to help Romo take the next step.

NEW YORK GIANTS: Stocked inventory
G-Men appear deep at every position

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: So far, so good
Westbrook recovery ahead of schedule

WASHINGTON REDSKINS: Comeback trail
OT, DE on rebound for different reasons

MIAMI DOLPHINS:
Never enough
Chad Pennington has to wonder, "Can I ever do enough?" Even after leading Miami to an AFC East title and 10-win improvement last season, fans and coaches already wonder when his backups will be a better alternative.

BUFFALO BILLS: Falling behind
Second-round safety will lose ground

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: No "I" in "Team"
DT shows team-first approach to contract

NEW YORK JETS: Against the curve
Clemens not facing even battle vs. Sanchez

NFC NORTH
AFC NORTH
DETROIT LIONS:
Ground zero
There's nowhere to go but up after the NFL's first 0-16 season ever. And things are certainly different for the Lions at camp this season, from 40 new players, a new head coach and even fresh threads and logos.

CHICAGO BEARS: A new sensation
Bears fans already falling hard for Cutler

GREEN BAY PACKERS: Center of conflict
Key position battle in middle of O-line

MINNESOTA VIKINGS: Thin line
QB's not the only job up for grabs

BALTIMORE RAVENS:
Last nerve
Just as important to the Ravens as Ray Lewis, safety Ed Reed is sporting the red jersey normally reserved for QBs in early camp workouts. The culprit -- a neck nerve issue that made Reed think twice about returning at all.

CINCINNATI BENGALS: Running down a dream
Camp goal to fix broken-down run game

CLEVELAND BROWNS: Battle to the end
So who will replace TE Kellen Winslow?

PITTSBURGH STEELERS: Proactive approach
Big Ben tackles distraction head on

NFC SOUTH
AFC SOUTH
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS:
Plan D
The past few years, Saints fans have been accustomed to watching their top-ranked offense shred the team's defense at will in camp practices. For a change, the new-look defense returned the favor thus far.

ATLANTA FALCONS: Missing person
Surprise holdout shakes up camp

CAROLINA PANTHERS: A few good men
Team's camp goal to find better backups

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: Old dog, new tricks
Veteran CB psyched for more man-to-man

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS:
Big shoes to fill
There are plenty of extraordinary coordinators who failed to make the transition to head coach. Hence the biggest question on the resume of new Colts head honcho Jim Caldwell as he gets used to running Indy's operation.

HOUSTON TEXANS: Count us in
Star LB, TE avoid holdout temptation

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: Toughen up
Del Rio gets back to basics at touch camp

TENNESSEE TITANS: Is this the end?
Defensive pair could face last Titans camp

NFC WEST
AFC WEST
ST. LOUIS RAMS:
Hitting weather
Not many teams started out in pads for full hitting sessions on the first day of training camp practice. Then again, not many teams are coming off a 2-14 season and got outscored by a remarkable 233 points.

ARIZONA CARDINALS: Cautiously optimistic
Warner ginger on hip, but positive

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: No worries
Singletary not worried about holdout WR

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: Good news, bad news
One lineman back, while another's done

OAKLAND RAIDERS:
The thinking man
The Raiders have not run the league's tightest ship the past few years, so when veteran Lorenzo Neal raves about the first few days of camp, eyebrows get raised. All part of a new mental approach in Oakland.

DENVER BRONCOS: Losing out
Vets take advantage of missing Moreno

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS: Built to last
Haley focuses on team's conditioning

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS: English major
Team excited to throw rookie into fire
