Bills center Eric Wood will miss the rest of the season after tearing a ligament in his right knee.

It's the ugly but unavoidable side of football. Take a look at the major injuries of 2011.

Wood says no timetable has been set for him to have surgery. He is aiming to be back in time for the start of training camp next summer.

With a brace on his knee and walking on crutches, Wood provided the update in the locker room on Monday, a day after he was hurt in the third quarter of a 44-7 loss at Dallas.

The Bills (5-4) travel to play Miami (2-7) on Sunday.
