The Bengals signed two more of their draft choices on Monday, leaving five of their 10 picks under contract.

Linebacker Sean Porter from Texas A&M, a fourth-round pick, and running back Rex Burkhead from Nebraska, taken in the sixth round, agreed to deals one day after the team's rookie minicamp concluded.

Burkhead is trying to win a job as a change-of-pace back complementing BenJarvus Green-Ellis. He recently visited the White House with 7-year-old Jack Hoffman, whom he befriended at Nebraska. The boy is being treated for a brain tumor and was given a chance to score a touchdown during the Cornhuskers' spring game last month.

The Bengals already had signed receiver Cobi Hamilton, who was picked in the sixth round, offensive tackle Reid Fragel and center T.J. Johnson from the seventh round.

Also Monday, the Bengals signed defensive tackle Terrence Stephens, a free agent from Stanford who tried out during the weekend minicamp. They waived defensive tackle Travis Chappelear of Northwest Missouri State, who had signed as a college free agent.

Linebacker James Harrison arrived in Cincinnati to start working out with his new team on Monday. The Bengals signed the former Steelers star last month as a free agent.

Harrison left the Steelers after the sides couldn't reach an agreement on a reconfigured contract to help the team get under the salary cap. The former NFL defensive player of the year is hoping to lead the Bengals deeper into the playoffs.

Cincinnati hasn't won a playoff game since 1990, tied for the seventh-longest streak of playoff futility in NFL history. The Bengals have lost to Houston in the first round of the playoffs each of the last two seasons.
