Bears waive snapper Jeremy Cain

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP)

The Chicago Bears have waived long snapper Jeremy Cain.

Cain appeared in the past two games with veteran Patrick Mannelly sidelined by a calf injury. The Bears announced the move on Tuesday.

Chicago is tied with Detroit for the NFC North lead at 6-4.
