GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP)

Arizona starting left tackle Bradley Sowell, who missed two practices and was limited in another last week due to illness, was active for the game against the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Most of the injured players inactive for the two teams already had been declared out for the game.

They included running back Arian Foster (back) and inside linebacker Mike Mohamed (hamstring) of Houston and wide receiver Brittan Golden (hamstring) of Arizona.

Foster has decided to undergo season-ending surgery after injuring his back last weekend against Indianapolis. Ben Tate took his spot in the starting lineup.

The Texans also were without backup tackle Andrew Gardner, who has a knee injury but had been listed as probable.
