Andre Johnson out again for Texans

Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Colts.

Johnson, one of the league's top pass catchers in recent years, will miss his ninth straight game with a strained left hamstring.

Houston guard Mike Brisiel is out with an ankle injury and Antoine Caldwell will replace him.

Other Texans inactive because of injuries are cornerback Sherrick McManus (ankle) and free safety Troy Nolan (ankle).

Indianapolis tight end Dallas Clark is out again with a neck injury. He missed four games after injuring his lower left leg, then played two weeks ago against Baltimore before sitting out against Tennessee. Jacob Tamme will start in his place.

Other Colts inactive because of injury include quarterback Peyton Manning (neck) and linebacker Philip Wheeler (foot).
