NEW YORK (AP)

Comments on the Jacksonville Jaguars by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (31)

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 29): Blaine Gabbert or Chad Henne? Either way, it looks like another long year in Jacksonville.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 29): Maurice Jones-Drew gives Jaguars chance to run ball every Sunday, which gives them chance to control clock. That gives Jaguars chance to win some games.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 29): It may not be fair for second-year player, but quarterback Blaine Gabbert is facing make-or-break season after calamitous 2011 performance.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 29): Mike Mularkey has some work to do in first year on job.

Chris Berman (ESPN, 30): Showdowns with Colts won't be for division title.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 30): Mike Mularkey will establish MJD like he did Michael Turner and then play action with Blaine Gabbert, who could surprise.

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 31): New coaching staff, an unhappy RB and serious concerns with the QB.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 31): Now we find out if Blaine Gabbert can play.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 31): Blaine Gabbert has to make lots of progress quickly in new offense.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 32): New owner and a new coach will not equal instant success.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 32): Without Maurice Jones-Drew, this punchless club would go 0-16.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 32): It will take some time for Mike Mularkey to put his stamp on this franchise. A QB would help.
