I live in Green Bay AND HAPPY FOR YOUS! You's also just GAINED MILLIONS OF NEW JETS FANS! I know FOR A FACT, over 1/2 of all WISCONSIN HAS JUST JUMPED ON BOARD WITH YOU!
Although I have season tickets to the Packers (which I sell) and have been a Packers fan, but NO MORE! Packers screwed Brett over and you's just got one class Act!
I place all my powers to you and hope you's get a Superbowl this year! As you know, BRETT CAN DO IT!

Congratulations Jet fans, this will be a big boost to your team, unfortunately , I really don't see the Jets going to the Super Bowl anytime soon, but they could be a playoff team for sure.
I am really appualed and dissappointed in the Green Bay Packers organization, with the way theyve handled this. Its too bad. How could you treat a soon to be Hall of Fame QB like that? What a disgrace!!!!!
Im a big fan of Favre even though Im a Cowboys fan first, and I hate to see this happen for GB , but they did it to themselves. Reminds me of another HOF QB named Joe Montana.
Jets fan can b extremely excited, I know I would be, if I were a jets fan.

The best part is the Patriots will KILL Favre twice a year now. Revenge for SB XXXI will be ours twice a year now.

He is going to be horrible as a Jet.....he should have stayed in retirement. Half way thru this season he and the Jets will wish he would have. Go Aaron Rogers....it is a new day in Green Bay. When Green bay goes to the playoff and the Jets don't even get close to 5 wins, and Rogers have more yards and touchdowns than Favre, and throws less int. We will all be saying that the Packers made the right choice, and not to mention the first round draft pick that the Packers earned because the Jets will be bad.

As a devoted long suffering Jets fan,I am pissed that the Jets have signed that cheating lying Favre character...If it wasn't for his cheating,the Jets Mark Gastineau's record for sacks would still be ours,but he layed down and gave it to a Giant...Hope he really gets sacked in a scrimmage and gets his head rung.

umm dude it's a 4th round conditional pick, it's only a 1st round if the Jets make the superbowl, unlikely.

Really sad to wish an injury on a player. The only ones deserving of serious injury are Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy. Farve made the wrong choice going to the Jets, but he'll get through this year and then be a Viking.

I guess I don't understand your mentality here. Favre didn't choose the Jets, the Packers decided to ship him there. They didn't want him to come back as a Buc or Viking QB and possibly make them look bad.
They took the easy way out and sent him to a rebuilding team in the AFC. Regardless of how you feel about Favre now, you have to admit the Packers in a "we'll show you mode" stuck it to him.
I think out of mutual respect and any future relationship they should have traded him to a contender and kept him in the NFC. They Packers decided to move on so if they are so confident the posibility of playing against Brett should not be a big deal.
Honestly, I can see him (if he plays for the Jets) possibly refusing to go into the HOF as a Packer......he's that upset.

An absolute joke what the pack brass did to favre. They sent him to a team that has no chance of becoming anything. They are trying to ruin his career. Like montana and rice. trade them to crappy teams where they can end there careers as failures. The jets have nothing to offer favre. No defense, no wide recievers, no running game. And to think the jets made some good offseason moves. Now they have to dump everyone to make room for his salary. Pennington sucked and favre is great. just sucks to see management out right try and ruin a guys career. They sent him to the jets because they knew he would go nowhere as the jets have no supporting cast to put around him. And to seal the deal they tell the jets if you trade him you owe us 3 first round picks. I would like nothing more then to see favre stick it to the pack and make them regret trading him. Unfortunatly the pack brass new what they were doing when they traded him to the jets. Sealed his fate to end his career as a failure. and anyone who thinks that this makes the jets a contender is smoking crack. live in the real world. Sorry brett to see you go out like this.

SORRY ABOUT THAT HE GOT WHAT HE ASKED FOR. HE SHOULD NOW TRY FOR THE ACADEMY AWARDS, ALL HIS CRYING AND SOBBING, THEN WANTS BACK. HE SHOULD HAVE GIVEN SOME THOUGHT BEFORE THE FACT.
