News: Vollmer exited Sunday's game at Buffalo in the first half with an injured finger.
Impact: The Patriots have deemed his return questionable. Vollmer, one of New England's top linemen, was replaced by Marcus Cannon at right tackle.

News: Vollmer (shoulder) is participating in training camp practice, the Boston Herald reports.
Impact: Out out the gate, Vollmer is working in a limited capacity, but that's to be expected, as he had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder this offseason. The 31-year-old is slated to reprise his role as the Patriots' starting right tackle, a role Vollmer handled very capably last season, while playing in 15 games for the Super Bowl champs.
