The 49ers have a road win against the Packers and a tough physical win against the Lions under their belts. They are clearly the most complete football team in the NFL and have the roster to win games in a multitude of ways.

Nine turnovers in just eight quarters doesn't seem to be a winning formula, but the Eagles are 2-0 and lead the league in total yards. Obviously, Vick will need to eliminate the interceptions and be much more efficient in the red zone.

The Packers' defense looked like the one that led them to a Super Bowl championship in 2010, applying pressure on the QB and forcing turnovers. Cedric Benson's 80 yards on the ground vs. Chicago is plenty for this offense.

Eli Manning threw for 510 yards . . . 243 of them in the fourth quarter. He threw the Giants right out of the game in the first half, and then right back into it in the second. There may not be a better NFL QB in the clutch.

Some question Bill Belichick's decision to center the ball, then spike it and settle for what would have been the game-winning field goal that missed vs. the Cardinals. It was the right call given the situation, but it should have never come down to the kicker. He had already accounted for 12 points on the day. Tom Brady doesn't appear to have any chemistry with his receivers, and it only gets worse with Aaron Hernandez on the shelf for the foreseeable future. Collapse Description

They moved Megatron inside to the slot to continue to find ways to get him open, and that creativity will pay dividends in the long run. Tampa Bay showed us flashes on Sunday, but giving up 510 passing yards isn't going to win too many games. I suggest they play harder during the first 59:55 so they don’t need to be in 4-point stances when the other team tries to take a knee.

So much for the offseason development of Blaine Gabbert. The Jags had a net of just 117 yards of offense … the worst offensive output in franchise history. And with the way this team struggled last year, that is saying a lot!
