News: Richardson (hamstring) does not appear on the Colts' Thursday practice participation/injury report, the team's official site reports. Impact: Though Richardson was listed as active for Week 8's contest against the Steelers, he essentially served as the Colts' emergency running back for the game, per the Indianapolis Star. No longer listed on the team's injury report, however, Richardson is now poised to rejoin the Colts' backfield mix Monday night against the Giants.(RotoWire, )

News: Richardson (hamstring) was spotted at practice Thursday, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. Impact: We'll have to see how the Colts list Richardson's participation, but his presence on the field Thursday bodes well for his chances of rejoining the Colts' backfield mix Monday against the Giants, after suiting up, but not recording a carry in Week 8.(RotoWire, )

News: Coach Chuck Pagano indicated that Richardson (hamstring) will be ready to go this week as the Colts' prepare for next Monday's game against the Giants, the team's official site reports. Impact: Per Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star, while Richardson suited up for this past Sunday's game against the Steelers, he was viewed by the Colts' as an emergency option only after not practicing last week. In the absence of any setbacks, however, Pagano is hopeful that Richardson will see action in the team's backfield next Monday.(RotoWire, )

News: Richardson (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. Meanwhile, Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star relays that fellow RB Ahmad Bradshaw is starting the contest for the Colts. Impact: Richardson is thus slated to suit up Sunday, after not practicing all week. It remains to be seen how much work he will see though, with Bradshaw starting the contest and Dan Herron on hand to work in a complementary role as well.(RotoWire, )

News: Richardson (hamstring) was active during Sunday's 51-34 loss at Pittsburgh, but did not touch the ball. Impact: Richardson was a game-time decision, and while he was active, the Colts decided to keep him on the sideline. Also, Indianapolis fell behind early, forcing Andrew Luck to air it out, so the game flow didn't favor a bruiser like Richardson anyway. He's likely to be questionable to play in next week's game against the Giants.(RotoWire, )

News: Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star suggests that the Colts may be leaning toward sitting Richardson (hamstring strain, questionable) out of Sunday's game against the Steelers. Impact: We'll track Richardson's status in advance of Sunday's 4:25 ET kickoff, though given that the running back did not practice this week, he's a risky Week 8 roll, in any case. If Richardson ends up sitting out Sunday's contest, or is limited, Ahmad Bradshaw would be in line for added action, with Dan Herron a candidate to factor in as well.(RotoWire, )

News: Coach Chuck Pagano said Friday that Richardson (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. Impact: Bowen suggests that Richardson appears to be a game-time decision for Sunday's 4:25 ET kickoff. If the running back ends up being scratched for the contest, or limited, Ahmad Bradshaw would be in line for extra snaps along with backup Dan Herron.(RotoWire, )

News: Richardson (hamstring) did not participate in the portion of practice open to the media Friday, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. Impact: Maybe the Colts will surprise us when the official injury designations are released, but a week of no practice does not bode well for Richardson's chances of playing Sunday against the Steelers. Ahmad Bradshaw stands to benefit the most from a Richardson absence.(RotoWire, )
Thu. Oct 23, 2014
News: Richardson (hamstring) did not practice Thursday. Impact: Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said Wednesday he hoped he would return Thursday, so his lack of practice doesn't bode well for his availability for Sunday's game. Ahmad Bradshaw will likely get the bulk of work if Richardson can't play.(RotoWire, )
Wed. Oct 22, 2014
News: Coach Chuck Pagano indicated that he hopes Richardson (hamstring) can practice Thursday, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. Impact: Adding plausibility to a positive outcome is that Pagano noted Wednesday that Richardson's current hamstring injury isn't nearly as bad as the one that the running back dealt with during training camp, an issue which forced Richardson to miss about a week.(RotoWire, )
Wed. Oct 22, 2014
News: Richardson (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. Impact: While Richardson previously downplayed his hamstring issue, his absence at Wednesday's practice solidifies the notion that the running back's Week 8 availability will need to be tracked as Sunday's game against the Steelers approaches. More on Richardson's status no later than Thursday, once the Colts return to practice.(RotoWire, )

News: Coach Chuck Pagano relayed Monday that Richardson (hamstring) has an MRI on tap, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. Impact: Richardson has downplayed his hamstring issue thus far, but until an MRI confirms the running back's optimism, his status will be worth monitoring in advance of Sunday's game against the Steelers.(RotoWire, )

News: Richardson downplayed the hamstring issue that he sustained in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 27-0 win over the Bengals, ESPN.com reports. "Little tweak, nothing big," Richardson noted. "I was able to still run and move. Coach [Chuck Pagano] told me there's no reason to back out there." Impact: Prior to tweaking his hamstring Sunday, Richardson had carried 14 times for 77 yards and caught four passes for 41 yards. While it's possible that he could be limited some at practice this week, it would appear as though he'll be able to continue to work in tandem with fellow RB Ahmad Bradshaw this coming Sunday against the Steelers.(RotoWire, )

News: Richardson is active for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh. Impact: The Indianapolis running back has been nursing a hamstring injury he suffered last Sunday and has not practiced all week. Use him at your own risk. (STATS, 7:26pm)
Oct 19, 2014
News: Richardson left Sunday's game against the Bengals with a hamstring injury and will not return, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. Impact: The Colts were up 24-0 in the fourth quarter, when Richardson was declared out, so this could just be a precautionary move. Richardson ran very well in this game, racking up 77 yards on just 14 carries (5.5 yards per carry) and adding four catches for 41 yards. However, he still split the workload with Ahmad Bradshaw (10 carries), and one game is not enough for us to forget his season-long struggles. We'll monitor this hamstring injury leading up to next Sunday's game at Pittsburgh.(RotoWire, )
