News: Randle had four catches on seven targets for 39 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Cardinals. Impact: Randle was much busier Sunday than he was in Week 1, when he posted two catches for one yard against the Lions. His touchdown came on a seven-yard jump ball that got the Giants on the board in the second quarter. His good size will keep him as a popular red zone target for quarterback Eli Manning this season. Up next is a tough matchup against the Texans in Week 3.(RotoWire, )

News: Randle had two catches for one yard on three targets in Monday's 35-14 loss to the Lions. Impact: Randle and Victor Cruz combined for just four catches and nine targets, while third receiver Jerrel Jernigan caught 4-of-7 targets for 25 yards in an unimpressive performance. The only Giants to produce in the passing game were TE Larry Donnell (5-56-1) and RB Rashad Jennings (4-50-0). Eli Manning continued the trend from last year and this preseason, struggling throughout Monday's game. Randle still has appeal as the tallest regular wide receiver in what should be a pass-oriented offense, but he's no better than second fiddle to Cruz and thus needs the offense as a whole to at least be decent. Also worth considering is that Odell Beckham (hamstring) will eventually join the mix. If Randle doesn't show up soon, his opportunities may start to evaporate.(RotoWire, )
