News: Rivers completed 28 of 37 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's win over Seattle. Impact: These are strong numbers against a strong defense and an improvement over his Week 1 line against Arizona. Another test could be coming in Week 3 against a Buffalo team that has allowed a total of 30 points and 369 passing yards in two wins.(STATS, 4:27pm)

News: Rivers completed 28-of-37 passes for 284 yards with three touchdowns in Sunday's 30-21 win over Seattle. He also added 17 yards on the ground on 11 carries. Impact: Rivers did a good job moving around in the pocket, and went to fellow veteran Antonio Gates early and often, as the pair hooked up for three touchdowns. While Rivers might not have the upside of some of the top fantasy quarterbacks, he's durable and more than capable of putting up strong numbers. He'll face another stiff test in Week 3, facing an underrated Buffalo defense.(RotoWire, )

News: Rivers was 21-for-36 for 238 yards with one touchdown and one interception in Monday night's loss at Arizona. Impact: The Chargers looked out of synch for most of this game and were unable to sustain many long drives against the Cardinals. The interception looked like a miscommunication between Rivers and his receiver, but all in all, it wasn't a great first game for the San Diego offense.(RotoWire, )
