News: Manning completed 25-of-35 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns in Thursday's 35-21 win over the Chargers. Impact: A modest showing by Manning's own ridiculous standards, but he played a nearly flawless game for the Broncos, avoiding any sacks and turnovers as the team only punted four times. All three scoring passes went to Emmanuel Sanders, who is finally turning his plethora of receptions into touchdowns. The Denver offense seems to be no less efficient than it was last season, but with the team's defense quite clearly improved, Manning be do a bit less throwing. It's only a minor concern, as he's still on pace for 50 touchdowns and nearly 5,000 passing yards, heading into a Week 9 road matchup with the Patriots.(RotoWire, )

News: Manning broke Brett Favre's all-time record of 508 touchdowns in Sunday's 42-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers, completing 22-of-26 passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns. Impact: Manning needed just three passing touchdowns to break Brett Favre's all-time mark of 508, and the 38-year-old had his record before halftime, in one of the most efficient outings of his career. He led the Broncos to six touchdowns in eight drives, against an injury-depleted San Francisco defense, then gave way to backup Brock Osweiler for the entire fourth quarter. Now six games into the season, Manning is on pace for similar numbers to those he recorded in his record-smashing 2013 campaign. He won't have to wait long to add to his record total of 510 career touchdowns, as the Broncos will face a slumping Chargers defense in San Diego on Thursday.(RotoWire, )

News: Manning completed 22-of-33 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns Sunday against the Jets. Impact: The Jets did a solid job of keeping Manning off-balance for much of the game, though it wasn't enough to keep him from throwing at least three touchdowns for the fourth time in five games this season. He connected with six different receivers, including 10 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown to Demaryius Thomas, and two touchdown passes to Julius Thomas. Up next is a Week 7 matchup against a 49ers' defense that has been excellent against the pass this season, allowing 205.6 passing yards per game heading into Week 6.(RotoWire, )
