News: Williams didn't have a catch nor a target in Sunday's win over the Vikings and was on the field for just five snaps, according to ESPN's Mike Rodak. Impact: Williams was active after getting benched the previous week, but he hardly saw the field and clearly isn't a focus of this offense, despite his red-zone skills. Today's lesson for all you readers: if your coach takes what's a second or third chance on you and you get scratched, don't go public with your frustration, or worse, let your agent start gabbing to the media. The lesson could be a long one for Williams, as Chris Hogan looks to have moved into the third receiver spot and had a nice game in that role. Hogan is a nice big target like Williams, but seems to be more in sync with Kyle Orton and has had a few big catches the last two weeks.(RotoWire, )

News: Williams is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Impact: He'll re-enter the Bills' wideout mix Sunday, with Marquise Goodwin and Marcus Easley both out, but a wait-and-see approach is in order with Williams, until he re-establishes a role in the Buffalo offense.(RotoWire, )

News: Two of Williams' teammates - Marquise Goodwin and Marcus Easley - have both been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Impact: That leaves the Bills with just four healthy receivers - Williams being one of them - and while someone could get elevated from the practice squad, all signs point to Williams returning to action following last week's surprise benching. That said, he has one big play all season and that's about all he's done, and there's a chance Chris Hogan may have moved ahead of him into third in the pecking order.(RotoWire, )

News: Williams, whose agent requested a trade earlier this week, practiced with the scout team Wednesday and isn't sure if he'll be in the lineup when the Bills face the Vikings this week, The Buffalo News reports. Impact: Coach Doug Marrone is not amused with the distraction especially considering Williams has a checkered past and he's not performing anywhere near his salary. Williams has an ugly 8/142/1 line while playing five games, and 80 yards and the score came on one play. He may get back in the lineup pretty quickly as the Bills need all the help they can get on offense, but he's about as close to fantasy value as the first-rounder his agent has hinted he's worth in barter.(RotoWire, )

News: Williams is still not at all happy about being benched last weekend. That doesn't mean he wants out of Buffalo. The wide receiver took matters into his own hands by saying, "I'm the boss and I want to be here," in ordering his agent Hadley Engelhard to stop seeking trade offers. At the same time, Williams defended Engelhard for opening discussions by saying the agent was merely doing his job. Impact: The comments were Williams' first since general manager Doug Whaley revealed on Monday the Bills granted Engelhard permission to seek a trade. It happened a day after the fifth-year player was inactive for the first time this season in a 37-22 loss to New England. It's unclear whether Williams will play Sunday, when Buffalo (3-3) hosts Minnesota (2-4). (STATS, 4:21pm)

News: Buffalo Bills General Manager Doug Whaley says he has granted the agent for Williams permission to seek a trade. Impact: Williams was inactive for Sunday's 37-22 loss to the New England Patriots. Williams started the Bills' first four games, but coach Doug Marrone said Sunday's game plan called for the Bills to activate a third tight end in place of one of the team's wide receivers. News: Williams' agent has been given permission to gauge trade interest in his client, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports. Impact: Williams was a healthy scratch from Sunday's game following totals of eight catches, 142 yards. and one touchdown through the first five games this season. Since he's unhappy with his role as the Bills' No. 3 receiver, his agent has requested a trade elsewhere. Although Buffalo isn't actively shopping Williams, the team will reportedly do its due diligence by listening to any potential interest the wideout garners. However, given the fact that he's set to earn $5.2 million next year, his trade market is anticipated to be minimal.(RotoWire, )

News: Williams is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Impact: This is somewhat of a surprise, considering he's the Bills' third receiver. Assuming it's not a late injury or a team discipline move, we'll assume the Bills want to work with options like Marquis Goodwin and Chris Hogan to give the Patriots a different look, as Williams hasn't developed much of a rapport with either EJ Manuel or Kyle Orton so far.(RotoWire, )
