News: Stafford completed 24 of 34 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' 24-17 win over the New York Jets on Sunday. Impact: Stafford's performance against the Jets was a welcome change after he tossed two picks with no TDs in a win over Green Bay in Week 3. News: Stafford completed 24-of-34 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding eight rushing yards and a rushing touchdown Sunday against the Jets. Impact: Despite a banged up Calvin Johnson (ankle), Stafford carved up the Jets' weak secondary, connecting with eight different receivers, including a 59-yard touchdown to wideout Jeremy Ross and a 16-yard touchdown to tight end Eric Ebron in the second quarter. While he was sacked four times, Stafford was in control for much of the game, including connecting with Golden Tate eight times on 10 targets for 116 yards. The rushing touchdown was Stafford's second of the season, and his three-TD performance matched his Week 1 output against the other New York team. Up next is a decent matchup against a Bills defense that is much stronger against the run than the pass this season.(RotoWire, )

News: Stafford completed 22-of-34 passes for 246 yards with two interceptions and a lost fumble Sunday against the Packers. Impact: Stafford connected with six different receivers, but failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this season. The Lions did a better job of trying to reach a 50/50 passing/rushing split (34-to-38), though the Packers did a good job of forcing turnovers. Up next is a solid Week 4 matchup against the Jets, who are excellent against the run but have struggled significantly this season against the pass.(RotoWire, )
