News: Lynch (back) did not practice Wednesday, the Seattle Times' Bob Condotta reports. Impact: This shouldn't come as a big surprise, but it obviously would have been better if he had been able to participate in some capacity. Lynch is dealing with an ongoing back issue, which is why he only saw six carries in Week 2, and it is looking like he will remain questionable leading up to Sunday's game against Denver. Should Lynch be unavailable or limited for this week's game, Robert Turbin would presumably be first in line to take on Lynch's workload.(RotoWire, )

News: Lynch is dealing with an "ongoing" back concern which will be watched closely this week, Liz Mathews of ESPN 710 Seattle reports. Impact: Lynch was beset by a back concern almost weekly during the 2012 season, yet he didn't miss a game en route to a career-high 1,590 yards on the ground. Meanwhile, the issue may explain his non-typical usage in Week 2, when he garnered just six carries and four receptions. Expect his status to be clarified by the release of Wednesday's injury report, but note that his last absence - in 2011 - occurred when he awoke with back spasms on game day.(RotoWire, )

News: Lynch had just six carries for 36 yards in Sunday's loss to San Diego. Impact: He salvaged his fantasy day with four catches for 27 yards and a touchdown. The Seahawks trailed for much of the game, and San Diego controlled the clock. He's got a Super Bowl rematch with Denver next week, but he only managed 39 yards on 15 carries in that game.(STATS, 4:42pm)

News: Lynch had just six carries for 36 yards in Sunday's loss at San Diego. He did contribute as a pass catcher though, with four receptions on four targets for 27 yards and a touchdown. Impact: Lynch got very little work on the ground because San Diego controlled the ball for over 42 minutes. His 14-yard touchdown late in the third quarter did soften the blow for fantasy owners though. It would be surprising if Seattle didn't pound the ball next week at home against Denver.(RotoWire, )

News: Lynch ran for 110 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carriers in Seattle's Week 1 win over Green Bay on Thursday. Impact: Lynch went without a 100-yard game in the final six regular-season contests of 2013 and had just three for the year, so this is a strong start for fantasy owners.(STATS, 4:29pm)

News: Lynch had 20 carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns, adding one reception for 14 yards, in Thursday's season opener against the Packers. Impact: Lynch looked like his usual powerful self, breaking tackles while running as hard as any player in the league. His brief holdout and limited preseason can safely be buried as non-issues, and Lynch has a good chance to improve on last year's 4.2 yards per carry, after the Seahawks dealt with an unusual number of injuries on the offensive line in 2013. Lynch handled 20 of Seattle's 37 rushing attempts Thursday, with Russell Wilson (seven for 29 yards), Robert Turbin (6-27) and Percy Harvin (4-41) accounting for the rest. The 20 carries are a touch on the high side compared to last year. He had seven games of at least 20 carries last season but only three with more than 21.(RotoWire, )

News: Lynch will "let it rip" in Thursday's season opener against the Packers, coach Pete Carroll told USA Today. Impact: "He's ready to go," Carroll said. "We're really excited about cutting him loose. The shot we gave him in game three (of the preseason Aug. 22 against Chicago), he looked exactly on point. He hasn't missed a snap or practice, hasn't missed anything." Lynch held out the first week of training camp but had a routine preseason after returning to practice.(RotoWire, )
