News: Miller is not listed on the Dolphins' Wednesday practice participation/injury report. Impact: This nugget confirms that the ankle issue Miller sustained in Week 2 was a minor one, which sets the stage for Miller to head the Dolphins' rushing attack Sunday against the Chiefs, with Knowshon Moreno out with an elbow injury.(RotoWire, )

News: Miller (ankle) took part in Tuesday's practice, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Impact: Miller suffered a minor ankle injury toward the end of Sunday's loss to the Bills, but is practicing Tuesday and doesn't figure to be limited moving forward. If anything, teammate Knowshon Moreno (elbow) being ruled out boosts Miller's fantasy stock significantly as the undisputed No. 1 running back on the Dolphins.(RotoWire, )

News: Miller's (ankle) backfield mate Knowshon Moreno is expected to miss four-to-eight weeks due to a dislocated and possibly fractured elbow, The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports. Impact: Miller suffered an ankle injury of his own in the fourth quarter, and while he never returned to the game, his failure to come back in isn't necessarily significant, as his first chance to do so came with about four minutes remaining and the Dolphins down by 16 points. According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, Miller was expected to return. In any case, Miller is now in line to lead the Miami backfield, with Damien Williams the presumed top backup. While Miller's injury status needs to be monitored, it looks like he just received a major boost in fantasy value.(RotoWire, )

News: Miller (ankle) left Sunday's loss to the Bills and did not return, the Miami Herald reports. Impact: The report suggests that Miller's injury is not considered serious, while adding that Knowshon Moreno could miss time with an elbow injury that he suffered Sunday. Assuming Miller's injury is minor, it looks like he could see an expanded workload in Week 3 and beyond, with Damien Williams now a candidate for added work, in the wake of Sunday's backfield injuries.(RotoWire, )

News: Miller started Sunday against the Patriots and finished with 11 carries for 59 rushing yards and four catches on five targets for 19 receiving yards and a touchdown, but he also lost a fumble. Impact: A solid game for Miller, although Knowshon Moreno led the backfield with 24 carries for 134 yards and a touchdown. Miller struggled at times throughout the game, including a battle with cramps with less than three minutes remaining, and the lost fumble certainly won't help him fight off Moreno for the top spot on the depth chart. Even if Miller does keep his spot as the No. 1 running back, Moreno will clearly get a hefty share of touches.(RotoWire, )
