News: Jones (foot) was held out of Saturday's practice for precautionary reasons, ESPN.com reports. Impact: The Falcons plan to take it easy with Jones during the early portion of training camp. The team announced that he'll be participating every other day during the first week of camp. He'll be evaluated by team doctors on his off days. He won't need four preseason games to gear up for Week 1, so even though he's expected to be ready to go when the season opens, don't be surprised if he sits out a few preseason games.(RotoWire, )

News: Jones (foot) will be ready for the start of training camp, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Impact: While coach Mike Smith acknowledged that Jones will be limited in his snap count during the early stages of camp, the athletic wideout shouldn't have much trouble collecting enough reps to prepare for the start of the regular season. Everything so far suggests Jones has recovered as expected from his fractured foot, making him worthy of targeting in the early rounds as a lead receiver on fantasy squads. He was on pace for a career-best season prior to suffering the injury in Week 5, and the ongoing decline of the aging Roddy White could mean that even more targets will be in store for Jones in 2014.(RotoWire, )
