News: Edelman (thigh) caught a season-high 11 passes for 89 yards on 15 targets in Sunday's 34-9 win over the Lions. Impact: Edelman's catch totals can fluctuate some, but he continues to be a valuable PPR asset (thanks to his target volume) and perhaps more importantly, he has re-established his health, after seeing a season-low 35 snaps in Week 11 against the Colts, while playing through some aches and pains in that contest.(RotoWire, )

News: Edelman (thigh) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Lions. Impact: Assuming no setbacks with his thigh issue, Edeleman is a candidate to see his share of targets, in a game in which the Patriots may be more inclined to throw, after emphasizing the run game in Week 11 against the Colts.(RotoWire, )

News: Edelman (thigh) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Lions, the Patriots' official site reports. Impact: Edelman was limited at practice this week after getting dinged up in Week 11's contest against the Colts, but the probable designation all but confirms the wideout's availability for Sunday's game.(RotoWire, )

News: Edelman (thigh) was limited at practice Thursday, the Patriots' official site reports. Impact: We'll revisit Edelman's status Friday, but given that he played through his thigh injury, albeit en route to a season-low 35 snaps in Week 11, we'd expect the wideout to tough it out Sunday against the Lions.(RotoWire, )

News: Edelman (thigh) was limited at practice Wednesday, the Boston Herald reports. Impact: The report notes that Edelman emerged from Week 11's win over the Colts somewhat banged up after falling hard on a yardage marker in the contest, and also later when he was taken down to the ground after a hit. While Edelman made it through this past Sunday's game, he was limited to a season-low 35 snaps, so his status is worth monitoring in advance of this weekend's game against the Lions.(RotoWire, )

News: Edelman was on the field for 47.9 percent of the offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Colts, ESPN.com reports. Impact: The report relays that Edelman's 35 snaps were a season low, noting that his usage was limited some after he took a tumble along the sidelines in the first quarter. We'll update Edelman's status Wednesday with an eye toward seeing if he ends up on the Patriots' Week 12 injury report.(RotoWire, )

News: Edelman caught 5-of-8 targets for 50 yards, adding two carries for 31 yards, in Sunday's 42-20 win over the Colts. Impact: The gameplan didn't work in Edelman's favor, but he still compiled a somewhat respectable stat line, even with the Patriots leaning heavily on running back Jonas Gray. Edelman hasn't been nearly as consistent as he was over the final six weeks of 2013, though he still leads the team in receptions (59) and targets (87) this year. Of course, Rob Gronkowski remains the clear No. 1 option in New England's passing game, as the star tight end gets as many (or more) looks than Edelman, and is far more productive on a per-target basis. Brandon Lafell's solid play has also contributed to the reduction in Edelman's role since late last season.(RotoWire, )
