News: Flacco completed 16 of 25 passes for 258 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 29-7 win over the Falcons. Impact: Flacco's first interception came on a deep pass that Torrey Smith probably could have made more of an effort on, but the second pick was simply a bad decision on the quarterback's part. Flacco otherwise played well in windy conditions, and he added an unexpected 39-yard touchdown to Smith on a fourth-and-9 with just 1:46 remaining in the game. Flacco will face the slumping Benglas defense next week, and while the matchup may be a bit easier than in recent seasons, he's never had much luck in Cincinnati. In a season-opening 23-16 loss to the Bengals, Flacco completed 35 of 62 passes for 345 yards with a touchdown and an interception.(RotoWire, )

News: Flacco became the first NFL quarterback to throw five touchdown passes in the opening half since New England legend Tom Brady did it in 2009 as the Ravens won 48-17 at Tampa Bay on Sunday. Impact: Flacco finished 21 of 29 passes for 306 yards with no interceptions and no second-half scores. He became the first Ravens QB with a five-TD performance since Tony Banks did it for the Super Bowl-winning 2000 team.(STATS, 5:13pm)

News: Flacco completed 21-of-29 passes for 306 yards and five touchdowns Sunday against the Bucs. His fifth touchdown came just 16:03 into the game, setting a record for the fastest to five touchdowns since the NFL-AFL merger, according to ESPN.com. Impact: Flacco was absolutely unstoppable Sunday, throwing two touchdown passes to Torrey Smith in the first six minutes of the game, then adding scores to Kamar Aiken, Michael Campanaro, and Steve Smith to give the Ravens a 35-0 lead with 13:57 left in the first half. It was a tremendous turnaround for Flacco, who had thrown four touchdowns in his last three games combined. His play could continue trending upward in Week 7, as the Ravens will host a Falcons defense that allowed 381 passing yards to Jay Cutler on Sunday.(RotoWire, )
