News: Cutler went 12-for-20 with 157 yards and an interception as the Bears' first-team offense failed to generate any points against the Seahawks on Friday.
Impact: Facing about as tough of an opponent as any in the all-important third preseason game, Cutler didn't struggle to move the ball, but was dogged by some untimely mistakes. Cutler was poised to end his night on a high note when Martellus Bennett hauled in a 23-yard pass at the Seahawks' one-yard line to put the Bears in position for a score, but he threw a goal-line interception three plays later to kill the momentum. Friday's performance aside, Cutler has performed much better in his second training camp under coach Marc Trestman, and could be on track for a career year if health permits.
