News: Tests on Douglas' injured foot came back negative, the Falcons' official site reports. Impact: Douglas, who left Thursday's game against the Bucs in the second quarter, thus appears to have avoided a serious foot injury. For his part, coach Mike Smith noted that Douglas will use the next nine days in advance of the Falcons' next game in order to get some treatment on his foot, while adding that the wideout's status will be updated on this coming Wednesday's injury report.(RotoWire, )

News: Douglas left with a foot injury in the first half Thursday. Impact: Douglas was starting in place of the injured Roddy White and caught a touchdown pass before leaving.(STATS, 9:50pm)

News: Douglas (foot) never returned to Thursday's game after getting injured in the second quarter, finishing his night against the Bucs with two receptions for 14 yards and a touchdown on two targets. Impact: Filling in for Roddy White (hamstring) as the starter, Douglas salvaged his night with a touchdown, but it was mostly the Julio Jones show, as the star wideout was targeted on 11 of Matt Ryan's 24 pass attempts. While deemed questionable to return, Douglas appeared to be in quite a bit of pain after suffering the foot injury, and the Falcons had no reason to put him back in. Douglas' Week 4 fantasy prospects against the Vikings are highly uncertain at this time, due to both his own injury and Roddy White's hamstring issue.(RotoWire, )

News: Douglas exited during the second quarter of Thursday night's game against the Buccaneers due to a foot injury and is questionable to return, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Impact: Douglas caught two passes (on two targets) for 14 yards and a touchdown prior to leaving Thursday's contest. At the moment, the severity of Douglas' injury is uncertain, but he'll be disappointed to have been banged-up during such a lopsided first-half Thursday.(RotoWire, )

News: Douglas is starting for the injured Roddy White (hamstring), who is inactive for Thursday's contest against the Buccaneers. Impact: As a result, Douglas is a prime candidate to produce far more than normal, if Ryan decides to look away from fellow starter Julio Jones. However, a touchdown shouldn't be expected, as Douglas hauled in just two among 132 targets a season ago.(RotoWire, )

News: Douglas had four catches on eight targets for 38 yards Sunday against the Bengals. Impact: The Falcons continue to throw a high number of passes (87 through two games), and while Julio Jones and Roddy White are the clear top-two, there are enough balls to go around for Douglas to make an impact in many deeper leagues. He'll look for his first touchdown of the season in Week 3 against the Bucs.(RotoWire, )

News: Douglas made six catches (on seven targets) for 69 yards in Sunday's Week 1 win over the Saints. Impact: Douglas tied for the Falcons' second-highest amount of targets Sunday and is a mainstay in the team's base offense of three receivers. Although fourth option Devin Hester went for 99 yards on five catches Sunday, Douglas played more than three times as many snaps as Hester, and just one less play than both Julio Jones and Roddy White. Clearly, Douglas will be relied upon in the Falcons' pass-happy offense this season and should maintain decent fantasy value despite Jones and White both returning from last year's injuries.(RotoWire, )
