News: Barnidge had four catches on four targets for 41 yards Sunday against the Saints. Impact: Barnidge saw extra playing time with Jordan Cameron sidelined with a shoulder injury, though it was wide receiver Miles Austin (six catches on 10 targets for 44 yards) who had a more significant increase in targets this week. It's unclear if Cameron will be available for Week 3 against the Ravens, but if he can't go, Barnidge should get another start.(RotoWire, )

News: Barnidge could see more offensive reps Week 2 against the Saints, as starter Jordan Cameron is currently day-to-day with a shoulder injury, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Impact: Barnidge saw 43 snaps on offense last week against the Steelers, which was seven less than fellow tight end Jim Dray. Each option saw two targets in the passing game, but Barnidge hauled in just one of those passes for a total of 13 yards. Although Barnidge drew the start in the preseason when Cameron was unavailable, the 6-foot-6 tight end has never caught more than two passes over 49 NFL games, so he isn't regarded as a high-quality fantasy option heading into Week 2.(RotoWire, )
