News: Manning completed 26-of-39 passes for 277 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday against the Cardinals. Impact: While the Giants' offense looked more competent Sunday than they did in Week 1 against the Lions, the offensive line still struggled at times and the receivers still dropped too many passes, a tough combination for a quarterback. Manning threw 19 of his 39 passes to wide receiver Victor Cruz and tight end Larry Donnell, with the latter becoming a very popular target in the early part of the season. The good news for Manning is that he's not just relying on those two, as his touchdowns went to wideout Rueben Randle and backup tight end Daniel Fells. Things are at least trending in the right direction, although the Giants face a tough Texans defense in Week 3.(RotoWire, )

News: Manning isn't listening to the whispers that his storied career with the New York Giants is starting to slide. Impact: Despite a miserable game in a season-opening 35-14 loss to the Detroit Lions, the two-time Super Bowl MVP was confident Wednesday that he'll master the team's new West Coast offense and get the Giants back to their winning ways. News: Manning finished 18 of 33 for 163 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Monday's loss to Detroit. Impact: Manning appeared to have numerous miscommunications with his receivers while trying to grasp the new offense. After last season's debacle, Manning may be better served on your bench until he proves he can be trusted in your lineup.(STATS, 5:14pm)

News: Manning completed 18-of-33 passes for 163 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions, in Monday's 35-14 loss to the Lions. Impact: Following a poor 2013 and a terrible preseason, Manning didn't look any better in his first action of the 2014 season. Though sacked just twice, he took more than his fair share of hits, with the Lions registering nine on the night. Neither accurate nor poised, he also didn't get much help from his teammates. Hopes for an improved offense under new coordinator Ben McAdoo are quickly fading, and the Giants will face what looks to be a solid Arizona defense next week.(RotoWire, )
