News: Trevathan's MRI on Monday revealed a crack in the bone just above his left knee, Troy Renck of The Denver Post reports. Impact: Trevathan is consequently expected to sit out multiple games. The linebacker was sidelined for the first three weeks of this season after suffering a bone fracture below the same knee in August. Fortunately, the fracture sustained Sunday isn't thought to be as serious. However, considering the first incident kept Trevathan sidelined for a total of seven weeks, it appears usual reserves Brandon Marshall and rookie Corey Nelson will see expanded playing time at weakside linebacker until further notice.(RotoWire, )

News: Trevathan's broken leg will keep him out longer than expected. Impact: The Broncos placed Trevathan on recallable injured reserve Tuesday. That means the team's top tackler from last year can't practice until Nov. 26 and isn't eligible to play in a game until Denver visits San Diego on Dec. 14. Trevathan reinjured his left leg Sunday in his second game back from a broken bone under his kneecap. On Monday, coach John Fox said this latest injury was to the top and side of his knee. News: Trevathan will have an MRI on his left knee Monday after sustaining an injury Sunday against the Jets, the Denver Post reports. Impact: Trevathan, the Broncos' leader in tackles last season, missed the first three games this year after suffering an injury to the same knee during training camp. He was reportedly seen walking without a limp after Sunday's game, giving the team some hope that the new issue isn't a serious one. If Trevathan has to miss any time, Brandon Marshall is expected to move into the open slot, with rookie Corey Nelson, who filled in against the Jets, also getting some added snaps.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Trevathan's injury was to his left knee, the same one he fractured in mid-August and forced him to miss the first month of the season. No word yet on whether this injury is as serious, or if it is related to the previous ailment, but the Broncos will be without him at least for the rest of this contest.(RotoWire, )
