News: Amendola caught 1-of-3 targets for a 19-yard touchdown in Thursday's 27-25 win over the Jets. Impact: Though he didn't catch a pass until his fourth-quarter touchdown on a 3rd-and-goal from the 19-yard line, Amendola helped the Patriots all night with some good work on kickoff returns, and he also drew a key pass interference to set up a field goal at the end of the first half. Two snaps before his shocking touchdown, Amendola caught a short pass near the end zone that was wiped out by an offensive pass interference penalty on teammate Brandon LaFell. While his added kick return duties may be promising in return-yardage leagues, Amendola has just five receptions and 13 targets through seven games, making him waiver-wire fodder in all but the deepest of standard formats.(RotoWire, )

News: Amendola, who didn't record a catch Sunday, was on the field for 24-of-74 snaps on offense in the Patriots' win over the Bills, ESPN.com reports. Impact: Most of Amendola's work these days is in three-receiver sets, with Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell clearly the team's top two options at wideout these days.(RotoWire, )
