News: Ogbonnaya is expected to serve as the primary backup to starter Jonathan Stewart on Sunday against Green Bay, the Charlotte Observer reports. Impact: Stewart is ready to return after a three-game absence, but most of Carolina's other rushers are injured. Ogbonnaya is the only other back not listed as questionable or doubtful on the final injury report. He has just eight carries for 24 yards all season, however.(RotoWire, )

News: With Jonathan Stewart (knee) inactive Sunday against the Bengals, Darrin Reaves, Fozzy Whittaker and Ogbonnaya will split the workload at running back, the Charlotte Observer reports. Impact: Owners desperate enough to start Ogbonnaya should beware that Reaves had the most carries of the committee last week, and Whittaker is back to full health and will probably garner more opportunities. Ogbonnaya is a risky play, despite the appealing matchup against the struggling Bengals run defense.(RotoWire, )

News: If Jonathan Stewart (knee) is unable to play Sunday against the Bengals, the Panthers plan to split carries between Ogbonnaya, Darrin Reaves and Fozzy Whittaker, the Associated Press reports. Impact: Coach Ron Rivera is hoping to have Stewart available, but if that doesn't happen, we'll be looking at a similar setup to last week when the Panthers split carries between Reaves and Ogbonnaya. The matchup is better this week - the Bengals have been getting torn up on the ground recently - but Ogbonnaya still seems like a risky flex option at best, and that's only if Stewart misses the game.(RotoWire, )
