News: Davis will start Sunday's game against the Eagles. Impact: With Sam Bradford out for the year, Davis has supplanted Shaun Hill as the Rams' starting QB, with ESPN's Nick Wagoner suggesting that Davis will not be on a short leash going forward. Considering the Rams are past their Week 4 bye, Davis merits a pickup by those looking to add speculative QB depth at this stage. He'll take aim Sunday at a Philadelphia team that has surrendered 87 points over its last three games.(RotoWire, )

News: Rams coach Jeff Fisher says that Austin Davis will be the team's starting quarterback for the rest of the season. Impact: Fisher had insisted that Shaun Hill would return as the starter as soon as he was completely healed from a quad injury. Instead, he said Wednesday that Davis is the starter beginning Sunday at Philadelphia.(STATS, 3:10pm)

News: Davis threw for 327 yards to go with three touchdowns and two picks in Sunday's heartbreaking 34-31 loss to Dallas. Impact: Davis has proven to be more than serviceable in place of Shaun Hill, completing 52 of 71 passes (73.2 percent) over the last two games.(STATS, 4:17pm)

News: Davis completed 30-of-42 passes for 327 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Cowboys. Impact: Shaun Hill was active for the game and appeared to be on the cusp of starting, before the team ultimately made the late call to go with Davis. He had by far his best game of the season, connecting with eight different receivers while throwing touchdowns to wide receivers Brian Quick and Austin Pettis, and tight end Lance Kendricks. He did throw a pick-six that put the Cowboys up by 10 with less than six minutes remaining, but he was otherwise very solid. Head coach Jeff Fisher has repeatedly said that Hill will be the starter when he's fully healthy, but Davis made a great case for the job, something that Fisher will have to consider over their Week 4 bye.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis was announced as the Rams' starting QB in advance of Sunday's game against the Cowboys, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports. Impact: The Rams took the call down to the wire, but Davis will draw Sunday's start at QB, after all.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis' teammate, Shaun Hill (quad) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Impact: Previous reports suggested that the Rams were expected to start Davis in Sunday's contest, but in advance of the game, the team has yet to announce a starter at QB, with ESPN's Nick Wagoner noting that both QB's took pre-game reps. There's enough uncertainly here leading up to kickoff to make either QB a risky roll.(RotoWire, )

News: Shaun Hill will test his quadriceps before Sunday's game, but Davis is still expected to get the start, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Impact: With Hill barely practicing this past week and Davis leading the Rams to a win last Sunday, it would be a big surprise to see Davis not get the start. He hasn't thrown a touchdown yet this year, but has been efficient and mistake-free.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis is expected to start against Dallas on Sunday over Shaun Hill (thigh), the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Impact: Davis followed up his strong preseason with a mostly encouraging two-week stretch to start the regular season, completing 38-of-52 passes for 427 yards and one interception. He'll likely get a chance to keep it going against Dallas this week, though there doesn't appear to be much fantasy upside here.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis took the bulk of the snaps with the first-team Thursday, with Shaun Hill still limited by injury, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Impact: With Davis playing decently in a win last week, the Rams will likely give him the start again if Hill is not 100 percent healthy. Davis had 233 yards passing on 16 completions last week, but had an interception and threw no touchdown passes. With an anemic Rams offense that's scored one touchdown so far this year, you're better off looking in other directions than Davis.(RotoWire, )
