News: Johnson (ankle) returned to a limited practice Thursday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: We'll check back on Johnson's status Friday, but a probable designation for Sunday's game against the Eagles seems plausible for the veteran wideout.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Johnson was one of six Texans held out of practice Wednesday, though we'll operate under the assumption that his absence was maintenance-related.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) had seven catches on 12 targets for 55 yards Sunday against the Titans. Impact: Johnson continues to get a solid number of targets (33 in the last three games), but his receiving yards have dropped from 99 to 77 to 55 in that span. His fantasy stats were limited Sunday, due to the Texans building an early lead and protecting it by running the ball 40 times. On the plus side, Johnson will face off against the Eagles in Week 9, a team that is allowing the ninth-most passing yards per game this season heading into Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans. Impact: Johnson seems to be hitting his stride and has put together two of his better games this season in the last two weeks. He'll look to continue the strong play Sunday against Tennessee's mediocre pass defense.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against the Titans. Impact: Johnson, who practiced fully Friday, figures to see his share of looks once again in Week 8, having combined for 21 targets over his last two outings.(RotoWire, )

News: Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick acknowledged a need to get Johnson (ankle) the ball more following Monday night's loss to the Steelers, CSN Houston reports. "My job is to get the ball to our playmakers, and I didn't get it to Andre nearly enough early," Fitzpatrick said. Impact: Indeed, Johnson was sitting at one catch for four yards after three quarters before he became a big target in the fourth. Head coach Bill O'Brien said Johnson was open throughout the game, while Fitzpatrick said the Steelers were doing some things to prevent the ball from getting to Johnson, but also took some of the blame for the wideout's low target numbers through three quarters.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: More on Johnson's status in the coming days, but we suspect that the wideout's limitations Wednesday are maintenance-related, rather than indicative of any injury setbacks.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) caught 5-of-9 targets for 77 yards in Monday's 30-23 loss to the Steelers. Impact: Johnson had just one catch for four yards at the end of three quarters, but he finally got it going during a failed comeback bid. This kind of mediocre receiving line is becoming all to familiar for owners, as Johnson is stuck in a below-average offense, catching passes from Ryan Fitzpatrick. Johnson also isn't quite getting the volume he did last season, averaging a still-lofty nine targets per game, down from 11.3 in 2013. He's on track for a respectable 1,111 receiving yards on 89 receptions as the center of Fitzpatrick's attention, but Johnson's historical lack of touchdowns has become all the more problematic in the Texans' current offense. Houston has scored just 14 offensive touchdowns in seven games, with Arian Foster accounting for six of those.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Steelers, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Johnson, who tops the Texans with 34 catches and an average of 69.8 receiving yards through six games overall, recorded a season-high 99 yards in Week 6 against the Colts, while also finding the end zone for the first time this season.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Steelers, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: Johnson's availability for Monday was never in any serious jeopardy, but his ability to practice in full Saturday should ease any remaining concerns about the ankle. The veteran wideout found pay dirt for the first time in 2014 in Week 6, but fell one yard shy of his first 100-yard receiving effort.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) was limited at practice Friday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: We'll continue to track Johnson's status, but so far there is nothing to suggest that his availability for Monday's game against the Steelers is in any danger.(RotoWire, )

News: Johnson (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: More on Johnson's status in the coming days, but with no reported setbacks in Week 6, we suspect that the wideout's limitations Thursday are maintenance-related in advance of Monday's game against the Steelers.(RotoWire, )
