News: Jeffery had four catches on seven targets for 39 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Packers. Impact: One week after breaking through the 100-yard barrier, Jeffery scored his first touchdown of the season. Despite fellow starting wideout Brandon Marshall being limited with an ankle injury, Jeffery finished with six fewer targets than in Week 3, while Marshall scored his fifth touchdown of the season. The Bears usually throw enough to get both receivers involved, but fantasy owners are still waiting for Jeffery's true breakout performance, which could come as early as next weekend, against a Panthers defense that allowed 327 yards and three touchdowns through the air to the Ravens in Week 4.(RotoWire, )

News: Jeffery (hamstring) wasn't listed on the Bears' injury report Wednesday. Impact: Jeffery surpassed his target count (12) from the first two games in Week 3 against the Jets, racking up 13 in all, while Brandon Marshall stumbled through an ankle injury. Despite hauling in 16 balls for 223 yards this season, Jeffery has yet to reach the end zone. Fortunately, though, his hamstring concern is a thing of the past, allowing owners to rest easy knowing the wideout will be available Sunday against the Packers.(RotoWire, )

News: Jeffery caught eight passes for a season-high 105 yards in a 27-19 win over the New York Jets on Monday night. Impact: Jeffery was targeted 13 times while facing the Jets' young secondary after getting thrown to a combined 12 times in the first two games. He totaled eight catches for 118 yards in those contests.(STATS, 10:31am)

News: Jeffery (hamstring) caught eight passes for 105 yards on 13 targets in Monday's 27-19 win over the Jets. Impact: After looking less than 100 percent healthy last week, Jeffery was back at full strength, or at least close to it, against a soft New York secondary. Meanwhile, teammate Brandon Marshall aggravated his ankle issue in the second quarter but was able to return to the game, finishing with just one catch for six yards. Jeffery now seems to be the lesser injury concern of the two wideouts heading into a friendly Week 4 matchup with the Packers.(RotoWire, )

News: Jeffery (hamstring) is active Monday against the Jets at New York, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports. Impact: Both Jeffery and Brandon Marshall (ankle) fulfilled coach Marc Trestman's contention that the wideouts were "good to go" for Week 3. While Jeffery still isn't close to 100 percent, according to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports 1, he should be more active than a week ago, when he gathered in three receptions (on six targets) for 47 yards.(RotoWire, )

News: Coach Marc Trestman announced Monday morning that Jeffery (hamstring) and fellow wideout Brandon Marshall (ankle) are "good to go" for Monday's contest versus the Jets in New York, the Chicago Tribune reports. Impact: Jeffery exited the week of preparation with questionable status for Week 3, but Trestman appears to have wiped away any concern regarding his availability. No matter, owners should await the release of the Bears' inactive list in advance of Monday's 8:30 PM ET kickoff before making a final roster determination.(RotoWire, )
Sat. Sep 20, 2014
News: Jeffery (hamstring) and Brandon Marshall both participated in a limited fashion at practice Saturday and are officially listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Jets, reports. Impact: The report suggests that both wideouts are expected to play Monday, a notion echoed by the Chicago Tribune. While the late kickoff this week is less than optimal for those who roster Jeffery or Marshall, it appears as though the duo are likely to continue to tough it out Monday, as they did in Week 2, barring any setbacks.(RotoWire, )
Sat. Sep 20, 2014
News: Jeffery (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Jets, the Chicago Tribune's Dan Wiederer reports. Impact: He will join Brandon Marshall as questionable to play Monday, but of course last week when both wide receivers were questionable, they both ended up playing against the 49ers. Through two games, Jeffery has eight catches for 118 yards and no scores, so he's less of a must-start than Marshall. Given the fact that it's the last game of the week, owners will once again be forced to make a tough decision about what to do with Jeffery in advance of the matchup against the Jets.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Sep 19, 2014
News: Jeffery will play in Monday night's game against the New York Jets. Impact: A hamstring injury didn't keep Jeffery out of last week's win against the 49ers, though he wasn't much of a fantasy factor with three catches for 47 yards.(STATS, 6:12pm)
Fri. Sep 19, 2014
News: Jeffery (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Friday. Impact: Considering he suited up in Sunday's game against the 49ers and has two limited practices logged heading into Saturday, Jeffery appears likely to suit up against the Jets on Monday. He's still looking for his first touchdown of the year after catching eight passes for 118 yards.(RotoWire, )
Thu. Sep 18, 2014
News: Jeffery (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports. Impact: Last week, Jeffery failed to practice both Wednesday and Thursday, before returning in a limited capacity Friday, so his health seems more advanced one week later. Meanwhile, Brandon Marshall (ankle) sat out yet again, but with an additional day to prepare for Monday's contest versus the Jets in New York, the duo will likely take the field in Week 3. Expect Jeffery's availability to become clear by the time Saturday's injury report emerges.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Sep 12, 2014
News: Jeffery practiced Friday for the first time this week, but is questionable for Sunday's game with San Francisco with a pulled hamstring. Impact: Jeffery had left Sunday's 23-20 loss to Buffalo shortly after the second half began. "I feel pretty good," he said after Friday's practice. "I mean, practice and the game are different. We'll see how I feel."(STATS, 6:16pm)
