News: Morris had 63 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown in a 45-14 loss to the New York Giants on Thursday night. He also matched career highs with three catches and 27 receiving yards. Impact: Morris has given steady production for Washington with 316 yards on 71 carries and three touchdowns in the first four games. He might have had even more attempts Thursday if quarterback Kirk Cousins hadn't committed five turnovers. A visit from Seattle might limit him Monday night. The Seahawks are fourth in the league with 72.3 rushing yards allowed per game.(STATS, 4:27pm)

News: Morris had 12 carries for 63 yards and a touchdown, adding three receptions for 27 yards, in Thursday's 45-14 loss to the Giants. Impact: Morris played well against a tough Giants defense, but the nature of the game limited his touches. His score came on his long run of 20 yards, which cut the deficit to 24-14 right after halftime, before Kirk Cousins threw a trio of interceptions in the third quarter. Roy Helu played more snaps than usual, with Washington forced to go pass-heavy in the second half. While a welcome sight for fantasy owners, Morris' involvement in the passing game probably won't continue, as he hadn't been targeted in three contests prior to Thursday's. Next week brings a tough home matchup against the vaunted Seattle defense. If there's any consolation, it's that the Seahawks were at least mortal against opposing running games last season, though they still allowed a meager four touchdowns on the ground.(RotoWire, )

News: Morris (knee) is active Thursday against the Giants, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports. Impact: Morris, who practiced in full all week, is set to handle his typical 20-plus carries per outing. Even if the yards pile up slowly but surely, his night should end with a helpful sum against a Giants run defense that gives up 4.2 yards per pop to opposing running backs.(RotoWire, )

News: Morris (knee) is listed as probable for Thursday's game versus the Giants. Impact: With full practices under his belt this week, there's little worry regarding Morris' ability to take the field on a short week after suffering a minor knee injury this past Sunday. The fact that the Giants allow 4.2 YPC to opposing backs bodes well for Washington's workhorse RB in Week 4.(RotoWire, )

News: Morris (knee) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice, Newsday reports. Impact: Morris was briefly examined for a knee injury during Sunday's game against the Eagles, but was ultimately able to return to action and finish with 77 yards on 23 carries. Although the Redskins didn't practice Monday, Morris would have been listed as a full participant, which matches his designation from Tuesday's session. As a result, Morris looks certain to play in Thursday's Week 4 divisional clash with the Giants, whose defense has allowed four rushing touchdowns to date.(RotoWire, )

News: Morris (knee) was listed as a full participant on Monday's injury report, John Keim of ESPN.com reports. Impact: The minor knee injury suffered by Morris on Sunday don't stop him from putting together 23 carries for 77 yards, which marked his worst performance from a fantasy perspective this season. He's averaging a shade under 20 carries per game in 2014, which should bode well Thursday against a Giants run defense that has allowed 4.2 YPC to opposing running backs this season.(RotoWire, )

News: Morris suffered a minor knee injury Sunday but was able to return to the field after being evaluated, the Washington Post reprots. Impact: Morris finished the game with 23 rushes for 77 yards. The Skins have a quick turnaround, as they play Thursday this week, so he may receive some rest in practice.(RotoWire, )

News: Morris had 23 carries for 77 yards during Sunday's 37-34 loss to the Eagles. Impact: The Redskins put up big points Sunday, but Morris was unfortunately not part of any of them. Unfortunately he also had to watch Roy Helu bang home a one-yard touchdown with less than five minutes left in the game. Quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 427 yards and three touchdowns, as the Eagles did a solid job of limiting Morris to only 3.3 yards per carry. Up next is a Thursday game against the Giants, who allowed 119 yards to the Texans without Arian Foster in Week 3.(RotoWire, )

News: Morris left for a short time Sunday to have a knee examined, but returned. Impact: This doesn't appear to be anything to worry about.(STATS, 1:45pm)
Mon. Sep 15, 2014
News: Morris had 85 yards on 22 carries and scored his first two touchdowns of the season in a 41-10 drubbing of Jacksonville on Sunday. Impact: Morris has 176 yards on 36 carries in the first two games this season, and he might get a few more touches in the coming weeks with dual-threat quarterback Robert Griffin III potentially out for the rest of the season because of a dislocated ankle.(STATS, 02:08am)
