News: Smith went 20 of 26 for 248 yards and three TDs without an interception Monday against the Patriots. Impact: Smith, who outplayed Tom Brady in this contest, is currently a better fantasy option than Brady. Smith has thrown six TDs and no picks in the last two games.(STATS, 06:20am)

News: Smith completed 20-of-26 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns in Monday's 41-14 win over the Patriots. Impact: Smith turned in a nearly flawless performance, and the Patriots were steamrolled by Kansas City's running game. Those two things are closely related, as he got to do most of his passing in favorable situations, against a defense that was worried about its continued inability to stop the run. Though he has six touchdowns and no interceptions over the last two games, Smith seems to be on track for a season similar to what he produced last year. Even with the emergence of TE Travis Kelce, Smith doesn't figure to throw a ton of passes, except when the Chiefs are in catch-up mode.(RotoWire, )

News: Smith completed 19-of-25 passes for 186 yards with three touchdowns in Sunday's win at Miami. Impact: It wasn't all perfect, as Smith was sacked five times, and lost a fumble. Still, it was a nice bounce-back performance after last week's touchdownless outing. It remains to be seen if Jamaal Charles (ankle) will play in Week 4, but Knile Davis ran for over 100 yards Sunday, and Smith made the most of unheralded weapons, throwing a pair of scores to Joe McKnight.(RotoWire, )
