News: Dixon scored the Bills' only touchdown in Saturday's preseason loss at Pittsburgh on a one-yard plunge. He rushed for 26 yards on 10 carries and caught one pass for five yards. Impact: It's starting to look like Dixon might be the team's main goal and short yardage back. This could curtail the overall value of Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, the later of which has only has 12 rushing touchdowns in four NFL seasons. Buffalo's red-zone offense is worth tracking going into the regular season.(RotoWire, )

News: Dixon rushed nine times for 28 yards with a score in Friday's preseason win at Carolina. He also caught one pass for six yards. Impact: Dixon is having a great camp, though the star of the backfield Friday was Bryce Brown, who's competing with Dixon for the top backup role behind C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson. Unfortunately, Bills coach Doug Marrone says he'll typically use just two backs in regular season action. One way it could shake out, with everyone healthy, is that Brown serves as the insurance to the top two, but Dixon ends up being the goal-line back, something he has a knack for given his aggressive style and strong, 233-pound build.(RotoWire, )
