News: Woodhead signed a two-year contract extension with the Chargers on Tuesday, NFL.com reports. Impact: Woodhead proved to be a seamless fit in the running back committee with Ryan Mathews and Ronnie Brown last season, becoming quarterback Philip Rivers' favorite receiving option out of the backfield. The 29-year-old set career-highs with 76 receptions, six touchdowns and 1,296 all-purpose yards. Woodhead will carry most of his interest in PPR leagues in 2014, but considering the high volume of touches he'll see when combining his carries and receptions, he's worth owning in just about any format.(RotoWire, )
