News: Foster (knee) did not practice Wednesday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: We'll revisit Foster's status Thursday, but we suspect that his absence Wednesday is maintenance-related. Foster has hit the 20-carry mark and topped 100 rushing yards in each of his last four games, while piling up a total of eight touchdowns in that span.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster ran for 151 yards and two touchdowns and also caught a pass for a score Sunday against the Titans, topping 100 yards rushing in his fourth straight game for the first time he's done that in his career. Impact: The performance marked Foster's 31st career 100-yard rushing game, tying Priest Holmes for the most in NFL history by an undrafted player. (STATS, 1:46pm)

News: Coach Bill O'Brien shut down Foster in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over Tennessee for precautionary reasons, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: If owners noticed a significant amount of touches for Foster's backup, Alfred Blue (14 carries, one catch), it wasn't injury related. Once the Texans rolled to a comfortable 27-3 lead, we got a steady dose of Blue in the backfield.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster had 20 carries for 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns, as well as four catches on six targets for 22 receiving yards and another score during Sunday's 30-16 win over the Titans. Impact: Foster was absolutely dominant Sunday, so much so that the Texans had a big lead for most of the game, allowing backup Alfred Blue to accumulate 42 rushing yards on 14 carries. Foster has now broken the 100-yard mark in all but one game this season (Week 4 against the Bills), and has scored six touchdowns in his last four games. Up next is a Week 9 matchup against an Eagles defense that went into Week 8 giving up over 120 rushing yards per game this season.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster, who was limited at practice Wednesday due to what the Texans termed a rest day, is no longer listed on the team's Week 8 injury report, per the team's official site. Impact: Wednesday's limitations were thus maintenance-related, with Foster on track to suit up and head the Texans' Week 8 backfield on Sunday against the Titans.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster was limited at practice Wednesday due to what the team is calling a rest day, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: Foster has been given a heavy workload through the first seven games, averaging 21 carries and five targets in six games played, so a limited day is quite natural.(RotoWire, )
Tue. Oct 21, 2014
News: Foster ran for 102 yards and caught a one-yard TD pass in Monday night's loss in Pittsburgh. Impact: Foster has now gone over 100 yards in all but one of six games thus far. Tales of his demise were greatly exaggerated during the preseason.(STATS, 10:22am)

News: Foster (groin) had 20 carries for 102 yards, while adding four receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown on six targets, in Monday's 30-23 loss to the Steelers. Impact: Once again the centerpiece of the offense, Foster had a mostly solid game overshadowed by a bad lost fumble inside the Texans' five-yard line. He still put up strong numbers, though the rushing yards were hard to come by after he piled up 59 on five carries on his team's first drive. With the last of those carries going 33 yards, Foster was spelled by Alfred Blue, who scored from 11 yards out on a reception the very next play. Foster later scored the game's final touchdown on a two-yard catch with 1:31 remaining. Somehow consistent in an offense that isn't, he'll be looking for his sixth 100-yard rushing performance in seven games when the Texans head to Tennessee in Week 8.(RotoWire, )
Mon. Oct 20, 2014
News: Foster (groin) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Steelers, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Feel free to roll with Foster as you normally would, now that he's healthy and coming off consecutive games in which he's recorded at least 20 carries and topped 100 rushing yards, while recording four TDs in the process.(RotoWire, )
Sat. Oct 18, 2014
News: Foster (groin) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Steelers, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: As per usual, Foster's reps were limited early in the week for maintenance purposes following another heavy workload in Week 6. Foster was able to practice in full both Friday and Saturday, and shouldn't have any restrictions against the Steelers' 14th-ranked run defense (111.2 yards per game).(RotoWire, )
Fri. Oct 17, 2014
News: Foster (groin) practiced fully Friday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Foster thus appears on track to be listed as probable for Monday's game against the Steelers and looks safe for fantasy owners to utilize in Week 7.(RotoWire, )
Thu. Oct 16, 2014
News: Foster (groin) was limited at practice Thursday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Note that Foster's current ailment is listed as a groin issue, but so far there has been nothing to suggest that his status for Monday's game against the Steelers is in any danger.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Oct 10, 2014
News: Foster opened the fantasy week in strong fashion Thursday. Impact: Foster had 109 yards rushing with two scores heading into another prime-time contest his next time out against the Steelers. He's up to 513 yards on the ground and could lead the league in rushing when it's all said and done.(STATS, 1:47pm)
