News: Foster ran for 102 yards and caught a one-yard TD pass in Monday night's loss in Pittsburgh. Impact: Foster has now gone over 100 yards in all but one of six games thus far. Tales of his demise were greatly exaggerated during the preseason.(STATS, 10:22am)

News: Foster (groin) had 20 carries for 102 yards, while adding four receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown on six targets, in Monday's 30-23 loss to the Steelers. Impact: Once again the centerpiece of the offense, Foster had a mostly solid game overshadowed by a bad lost fumble inside the Texans' five-yard line. He still put up strong numbers, though the rushing yards were hard to come by after he piled up 59 on five carries on his team's first drive. With the last of those carries going 33 yards, Foster was spelled by Alfred Blue, who scored from 11 yards out on a reception the very next play. Foster later scored the game's final touchdown on a two-yard catch with 1:31 remaining. Somehow consistent in an offense that isn't, he'll be looking for his sixth 100-yard rushing performance in seven games when the Texans head to Tennessee in Week 8.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster (groin) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Steelers, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Feel free to roll with Foster as you normally would, now that he's healthy and coming off consecutive games in which he's recorded at least 20 carries and topped 100 rushing yards, while recording four TDs in the process.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster (groin) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Steelers, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: As per usual, Foster's reps were limited early in the week for maintenance purposes following another heavy workload in Week 6. Foster was able to practice in full both Friday and Saturday, and shouldn't have any restrictions against the Steelers' 14th-ranked run defense (111.2 yards per game).(RotoWire, )

News: Foster (groin) practiced fully Friday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Foster thus appears on track to be listed as probable for Monday's game against the Steelers and looks safe for fantasy owners to utilize in Week 7.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster (groin) was limited at practice Thursday, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Note that Foster's current ailment is listed as a groin issue, but so far there has been nothing to suggest that his status for Monday's game against the Steelers is in any danger.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster opened the fantasy week in strong fashion Thursday. Impact: Foster had 109 yards rushing with two scores heading into another prime-time contest his next time out against the Steelers. He's up to 513 yards on the ground and could lead the league in rushing when it's all said and done.(STATS, 1:47pm)

News: Foster (hamstring) had 20 carries for 109 yards and two touchdowns in Thursday's 33-28 loss to the Colts, adding three receptions for 32 yards on four targets. Impact: Foster looked perfectly healthy as the Texans stuck with a balanced offense despite falling behind 24-0 in the first quarter. While QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has struggled to move the ball all season, Foster has been as consistent as possible, topping 100 rushing yards in each of his four full games, with five touchdowns in an inconsistent offense. The Houston attack will continue to run through Foster, and even the team's shaky passing game doesn't seem to be holding him back. Next week will bring a friendly matchup with the porous Pittsburgh defense.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster (hamstring) is listed as active for Thursday's game against the Colts, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: Foster, who carried 23 times for 157 yards against the Cowboys this past Sunday, is in line to head the Texans' rushing attack moving forward, provided he can stay healthy the coming weeks.(RotoWire, )

News: Foster (hamstring) is listed as probable for Thursday night's game against the Colts, the Texans' official site reports. Impact: We'll verify Foster's status in advance of Thursday's 8:25 ET kickoff, but with no reported setbacks this past Sunday after he carried 23 times for 157 yards, he appears ready to head the Texans' Week 6 rushing attack.(RotoWire, )
Tue. Oct 7, 2014
News: Foster (hamstring) was limited at practice Tuesday. Impact: After not participating in Monday's walkthrough, Foster's mere presence on the practice field Tuesday was encouraging. The 28-year-old back carried the ball 23 times in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys, so it's possible his limitations are simply maintenance-related. His level of participation in Wednesday's practice should provide a clearer picture of his availability Thursday night following the short week.(RotoWire, )
Tue. Oct 7, 2014
News: Foster did not participate in Monday's walkthrough due to a hamstring injury, CSN Houston reports. The Texans play Thursday night against division-rival Indianapolis. Impact: Coming a day after playing a game, it's too early to put much stock in a player's participation. Eleven Texans were listed as "did not participate," but we'll learn more coming out of practices Tuesday and Wednesday.(RotoWire, )
Mon. Oct 6, 2014
News: Foster had 157 yards rushing and a tying 1-yard score with 41 seconds left in regulation Sunday against the Cowboys. Impact: Foster has been a solid fantasy play when healthy, topping the 100-yard rushing mark in three of the four games he's played while scoring three TDs.(STATS, 08:38am)
