News: McFadden rushed for 59 yards on 12 carries and caught four passes on six targets for 26 yards, but also lost a fumble in Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Browns. Impact: McFadden certainly had some success on the ground with 4.9 yards per carry, his second-best mark of the season, but his fumble in the third quarter put an end to a 12-play, 71-yard drive and completely swung the momentum in the Browns' favor. It's likely to be overlooked by the coaching staff, however, with Maurice Jones-Drew managing just eight yards on his six carries and McFadden also doing a fine job with his six targets. McFadden's short-term outlook is bleak with Seattle due up in Week 9.(RotoWire, )

News: McFadden had 14 carries for 48 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Arizona. He also caught four passes on eight targets for seven yards. Impact: The Raiders seemed to be committed to the running game early on, especially before halftime, when they gave McFadden three straight runs from around the goal line. He finally punched it in on his third attempt, providing the team's lone touchdown on Sunday. They fell behind in the second half though, so the running game was somewhat abandoned, limiting McFadden's touches. He still received more work than backup Maurice Jones-Drew, who had just three carries for six yards. It's becoming obvious that McFadden is the top dog in the Raiders' backfield. He'll get a crack at improving on his current numbers at Cleveland in Week 8.(RotoWire, )

News: McFadden said Friday that this is the best he has felt this deep into a season since he joined the NFL in 2008, the Bay Area News Group reports. "I tell a lot of people I talk to, I tell them this is the best I've felt five, six games into the season," McFadden said. "It may not show on the stats but it's the best I've felt. I don't have any nagging injuries, nicks or anything slowing me down. So, I feel like I can go out there and just let it loose 100 percent." Impact: The seventh-year back looked spry coming off the bye week, gaining 80 yards on 14 carries against San Diego, his highest rushing total since Sept. 15, 2013. McFadden failed to exceed 3.8 yards per carry in any of his first four games of the season, but it appears he'll continue to head the Raiders' ground attack, with Maurice-Jones Drew playing a complementary role. However, while his health is intact now, injury concerns will always exist with McFadden, something owners need to remember when considering his rest-of-season value.(RotoWire, )
