News: Bush (ankle) expects to play in Sunday's game against the Falcons, MLive.com reports. Impact: While Bush acknowledged that he was rolled up a few times and injured in the Week 7 win over the Saints, he said that he's fine and that he has not been 100 percent since high school. Nevertheless, the Lions should offer up more regarding their plans for Bush depending on his levels of participation in practice throughout the week.(RotoWire, )

News: Bush was sidelined for most of the second half of Sunday's game against the Saints due to a lingering ankle injury, ESPN.com reports. Impact: Bush was sidelined last weekend because of an ankle injury, which prevented him from playing much Sunday as well. In fact, Bush was limited to just nine touches for 32 all-purpose yards versus New Orleans, while teammate Joique Bell handled 20 total touches. As a result, Bush's practice participation should be worthwhile to monitor throughout this week, especially with a favorable matchup against the Falcons' defense looming next Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Bush (ankle) had four carries for 10 rushing yards and five catches on six targets for 22 receiving yards Sunday against the Saints. Impact: Bush returned from a one-game absence, after suffering an ankle injury in Week 5 against the Bills, but Joique Bell dominated the touches out of the backfield Sunday, grabbing 18 carries which he turned into 48 yards and a touchdown. It's unclear if Bush re-injured his ankle, as he barely played in the second half, but his practice participation next week will be closely monitored, ahead of next Sunday's game against the Falcons in London.(RotoWire, )

News: Bush (ankle) is listed as active Sunday against the Saints, the Lions' official site reports. Impact: Bush culminated the week of practice with an unhinged showing Friday, forecasting his first appearance Sunday since Week 5, when he initially injured his ankle. With Theo Riddick (hamstring) out of the picture, Bush will return to his typical platoon with Joique Bell, wherein the duo shares in the touches. During the season's first four weeks, Bush averaged 9.8 carries and 4.5 catches per game, versus Bell's 12 and 2.3, respectively.(RotoWire, )

News: Bush (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against New Orleans. Impact: Bush practiced all week, including a full showing during Friday's practice, indicating he's near full strength for this showdown with his former team. With surging backup Theo Riddick (hamstring) doubtful for Sunday, Bush and Joique Bell should both be fairly busy Sunday.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Oct 17, 2014
News: Bush (ankle) took part in Friday's practice, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official website reports. Impact: It's not clear how much work Bush was able to get in Friday, but he was able to practice for the third consecutive day, and will have a chance to return to action this week. Expect the Lions to provide an update on Bush's status when they release Friday's injury report.(RotoWire, )

News: Bush (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, the Lions' official site reports. Impact: After missing last week's game in Minnesota, Bush has practiced on two consecutive days, albeit on a limited basis. Friday's injury report should give us more insight on his likelihood of playing Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Bush (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Impact: After failing to take the practice field last week, Bush's presence forecasts his potential for active status Sunday against the Saints. If he plays, he'll attempt to take advantage of a defense that has given up 4.4 YPC and six total touchdowns to running backs through five games.(RotoWire, )
Wed. Oct 15, 2014
News: Bush was able to practice Wednesday after missing the Lions' victory over Minnesota last weekend because of an ankle injury. Impact: The team listed Bush as limited Wednesday. The Lions face one of Bush's former teams Sunday when they host the New Orleans Saints.(STATS, 6:27pm)

News: Bush (ankle) said after Sunday's game against the Vikings that he "100 percent" will play next week against the Saints, the Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett reports. Impact: With Bush inactive for the Vikings game, Joique Bell and Theo Riddick carried the load for Detroit, with Bell racking up 74 rushing yards and Riddick tacking on 75 receiving yards. We'll obviously track Bush's progress throughout the week, but his confidence is certainly encouraging for his prospects of playing against New Orleans.(RotoWire, )

News: Bush (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday at Minnesota, the Lions' official site reports. Impact: Bush's absence makes life easier for Joique Bell's (concussion) owners, who can expect the latter to garner significant looks on both the ground and through the air. In addition, Theo Riddick (hamstring) is available to provide a complementary presence out of the Lions' backfield.(RotoWire, )
Oct 12, 2014
News: The Lions do not plan on having Bush (ankle) available for Sunday's game against the Vikings, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. Impact: We'll confirm Bush's Week 6 status in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff, but if he sits, then Joique Bell would presumably be in line to head the team's rushing attack this week, with Theo Riddick also a candidate to see added opportunities in the Detroit backfield.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Oct 10, 2014
News: Bush (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against Minnesota. Impact: Bush didn't practice at all this week, so there's a good chance that he can't give it a go against the Vikings. If Bush sits, Joique Bell (concussion) should see a bigger workload than usual. Theo Riddick (hamstring) should also see an elevated workload. The Lions have an early kickoff Sunday, so Bush's owners will be free to play it down to the wire if they end up needing to make a substitution.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Oct 10, 2014
News: Bush (ankle) did not practice Friday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Impact: Bush said Thursday that his ankle feels good, but Birkett believes it is unlikely that Bush will play Sunday against the Vikings. With Joique Bell (concussion) and Theo Riddick (hamstring) back in the picture, there is less urgency to put Bush out there before he is ready, so the Lions may opt to play it safe. We'll check back in after the team releases their official injury designations, but this has the makings of a game-time decision.(RotoWire, )
Thu. Oct 9, 2014
News: Bush (ankle) was a non-participant in practice Thursday, the Detroit Free Press reports. Meanwhile, on a weekly radio spot with 97.1 The Ticket, he said, "Ankle's good. It feels good. I'm preparing this week. You saw me walk in here, I look good. No limp...No, the ankle feels good. It's nothing severe. I'm going to prepare this week as if I'm playing." Impact: Even if he upholds his prediction for active status Sunday at Minnesota, Bush could be relegated to a lesser role than normal, especially with Joique Bell (concussion) and Theo Riddick (hamstring) fulfilling complete practices this week. As the week draws to a close, expect further clarification regarding the running back pecking order in Detroit.(RotoWire, )
Wed. Oct 8, 2014
News: Bush (ankle) didn't participate in practice Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Impact: Bush was on the shelf during the first practice of the week, but both Joique Bell (concussion) and Theo Riddick (hamstring) were present in some capacity. However, because Bush intends to do everything possible to remain active, his status should be monitored closely as the weekend approaches.(RotoWire, )
Sun. Oct 5, 2014
News: Bush is active for Sunday's game versus his former team, the Saints. Impact: Bush was out last weekend with an ankle injury, and he is back now.(STATS, 3:10pm)
