News: Sproles had two carries for 20 rushing yards and three catches on four targets for 30 receiving yards Sunday against Washington. He also lost a fumble. Impact: Sproles had been magnificent in his first two games with the Eagles, but he came back down to Earth Sunday, in a tough matchup against a Washington defense that has been very solid against the run this season. Despite LeSean McCoy's struggles (19 carries for 22 rushing yards), Sproles still saw more work in the passing game, something that should continue in Week 4, when the Eagles travel to San Francisco.(RotoWire, )

News: Sproles sparked the Philadelphia offense in Monday's 30-27 win over the Colts, piling up 152 receiving yards on seven receptions, with another 26 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Impact: The Eagles have to be loving the early returns from Sproles, who looks like he'll be a strong fantasy option without taking away much of LeSean McCoy's value. Though he's 31 years old, Sproles looks as quick and elusive as ever, and he's still an expert at setting up his own blocks. Monday's performance was among the best of his career, as he broke most of the would-be tackles that he wasn't able to avoid altogether. He has 13 targets and 15 carries through two games, while McCoy has 11 targets and 41 carries. The Eagles are making sure to get both running backs the ball, and it helps that the team runs more plays per game than the average team.(RotoWire, )

News: Sproles had 11 carries for 71 rushing yards and a touchdown, as well as four catches on six targets for 14 receiving yards Sunday against the Jaguars. Impact: There were high expectations for what Sproles could do in the passing game under head coach Chip Kelly, but it was his 49-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that started the Eagles' comeback, after they went into halftime down 17-0. While LeSean McCoy is still clearly the feature back in Philadelphia, Sproles has the ability to take one to the house on any touch, which keeps him relevant in most leagues, and especially PPR ones.(RotoWire, )
