News: Donnell had a productive game Sunday, catching seven passes for 90 yards, though he lost two fumbles, the first of which more or less sealed the loss for the team. Impact: Since a three-touchdown game at Washington in Week 4, Donnell had done very little. That changed Sunday, as he returned as one of Eli Manning's top targets, which could coincide with the season-ending injury to Victor Cruz. Not to excuse Donnell's second fumble, but it came in the final minute of the game with the Giants trailing by 10 points. The Giants are on bye next week, so Donnell will look to keep things going against Indianapolis in Week 9, provided he doesn't find himself in Tom Coughlin's doghouse.(RotoWire, )

News: Donnell caught 1-of-2 targets for six yards in Sunday's 27-0 loss to the Eagles. Impact: Donnell has put owners in a tough spot with his second straight dud, after quickly going from relative unknown to early-season breakout star. His lack of involvement is more concerning than the lack of production, though the two are quite obviously related. Donnell may see his targets bounce back in the coming weeks, as Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz suffered a torn patellar tendon during Sunday's game. Still, Donnell now looks like a risky starter in many leagues, just two weeks removed from a three-TD performance that seemed to establish him as a weekly option.(RotoWire, )
