News: The Packers are not likely to pick up Perry's fifth-year option, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports.
Impact: Assuming that's the case, the 2012 first-rounder would become a free agent after this coming season. In the unlikely event that the Packers decide to pick up the option before the deadline this Sunday, Perry would be slated to earn $7.75 million for the 2016 season. Perry played in 15 games, including four starts, for the Packers last season, totaling 22 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble.
