News: Tolbert managed just 78 rushing yards on 37 carries and caught 12 passes for 93 yards through eight games played this season.
Impact: Tolbert, the Panthers' bulldozer full back, missed an eight-game chunk during the middle of season due to a slight leg fracture suffered in Week 3. That prolonged absence hurt Tolbert's hit-or-miss fantasy stock, which is mostly rooted in his goal-line scoring ability anyway. To that point, Tolbert notched an outstanding 35 touchdowns over the previous four seasons, making his zero-touchdown 2014 all the more disappointing. Fortunately, Tolbert is still under contract with the Panthers for next season, when he'll hope for a healthy and hard-running rebound campaign.

News: Tolbert ran twice for seven yards and caught a one-yard touchdown pass during Saturday's playoff win over the Cardinals.
Impact: Tolbert saw his usual short-yardage work, which was highlighted by a late touchdown catch to seal the Panthers' victory. As in recent weeks, Carolina's running game continues to purr, with Tolbert leading the way blocking and offering goal line potential for fantasy owners as well.
