News: Tucker was released by the Eagles because he suffered a torn quadriceps while playing basketball during the offseason, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Impact: Even if he were healthy, Tucker would've faced an uphill battle to make the final roster, as the Eagles revamped their backfield in the offseason. Tucker is expected to miss the entire 2015 season, but he may show up on a roster for 2016.
