Los Angeles Rams Player News: Last 7 days, All Positions

News: Brown (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice Wednesday, and has been officially listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Niners.
Impact: Brown likely is more on the doubtful side of his questionable designation given his inability to even practice in a limited role this week. Justin Davis figures to be in line to get some playing time whenever workhorse back Todd Gurley needs a breather should Brown ultimately be ruled out.
News: Webster was once again a nonparticipant at Wednesday's practice.
Impact: Webster has been sidelined since injuring his shoulder in the Rams' season opening win over the Colts. Although he is listed as questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Niners, he's presumably more on the doubtful side of the designation. Nickell Robey-Coleman figures to get another start at cornerback should Webster be ruled out.
News: Everett (thigh) was limited at Wednesday's practice and is listed as questionable for Thursday's game in San Francisco.
Impact: Everett has thus far made the most of his role as the Rams' No. 2 tight end, parlaying four targets into four catches for a team-high 134 receiving yards. That production wouldn't be sustainable in his current role even if he were completely healthy, but he's at least making a case to eventually push Tyler Higbee for the No. 1 spot on the depth chart. Everett's inability to log a full practice during the week suggests he could be a game-day decision Thursday.
News: Greg Zuerlein converted two of two field-goal attempts Sunday as the Los Angeles Rams lost to the Washington Redskins 27-20. He made kicks of 32 and 40 yards. Zuerlein tacked on two PATs.
Impact: "Greg the Leg" is off to a strong start, as he's gone 5 for 5 on field goals and made all seven of his extra-point attempts through the first two weeks. With the Rams' offense looking to be much improved, Zuerlein may return to being a fantasy factor once again.
News: Cooper Kupp had three receptions for 33 yards Sunday in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins.
Impact: Kupp wasn't able to duplicate the four catches, 76 yards and one touchdown he delivered in last week's NFL debut, but he was targeted an encouraging six times. Having quickly earned the trust of quarterback Jared Goff, the former FCS All-American is putting himself in the WR3 conversation.
News: Gerald Everett had three receptions for 95 yards Sunday in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins, though he left the game in the third quarter with a thigh injury.
Impact: The rookie has shown big-play ability during his brief NFL tenure, as three of his first four catches have gone for 24 yards or more. Everett is looking like a worthwhile stash, especially in dynasty leagues.
News: Sammy Watkins had two receptions for 30 yards Sunday in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins.
Impact: While Watkins is clearly the Rams' most talented receiver, he still seems to be developing a rapport with Jared Goff after being acquired from the Bills during the preseason. There should be better days ahead for the 2014 No. 4 overall pick.
News: Robert Woods had one reception for eight yards Sunday in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins.
Impact: Woods' first two games as a Ram have resulted in four catches totaling 61 yards, and it appears rookie Cooper Kupp has passed him as the team's No. 2 receiver. The offseason addition is off the fantasy radar right now.
News: Tavon Austin had one reception for five yards Sunday in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins. He added two rushes for three yards.
Impact: Now the Rams' No. 4 receiver and merely a gadget player, the 2013 first-round bust can be safely dropped from all fantasy leagues that don't count return yardage.
News: Todd Gurley II ran for 88 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries Sunday in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins. He added three receptions for 48 yards and one touchdown, and fumbled once.
Impact: The good news is Gurley's rushing total was more than he had in any game last season, the bad is that he fumbled twice. Still, the 2015 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year has scored three touchdowns through the first two weeks and is getting a wealth of touches as the Rams' obvious feature back. He rates as a top play when Los Angeles heads to San Francisco for the Thursday night game on the Week 3 schedule.
News: Malcolm Brown ran for zero yards on zero carries Sunday in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins. He added one reception for -4 yards.
Impact:
News: Jared Goff was 15 of 25 for 224 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Goff added one rushing yard on three carries.
Impact: Goff is clearly making strides in new coach Sean McVay's system, as he's averaged an impressive 9.8 yards per pass attempt through the first two weeks. The 2016 No. 1 overall pick hasn't thrown more than 29 times in those games, however, and that low volume likely keeps him in the QB2 range for fantasy purposes.
News: The Los Angeles Rams will be without starting cornerback Kayvon Webster for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.
Impact: Webster suffered a shoulder injury during the Rams' win last week against Indianapolis. He did not practice during the week and was listed as questionable on the team's injury report.
