NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23341164 New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX) New+Orleans+Saints+at+Baltimore+Ravens+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

The Ravens are one game out of first place in the AFC North. Baltimore almost collapsed in the fourth quarter last week against the Houston Texans, but its defense came through when needed most. Wide receiver Derrick Mason had a big-time performance, reeling in six passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns. The Saints have won their past six games but remain one game out of the top slot in the NFC South.

The Jaguars have a shot to smother the Colts’ late playoff surge. Maurice Jones-Drew has run for at least 100 yards in six straight games. The Jaguars' running attack ranks second in the league, and second-year back Rashad Jennings has scored in the past three games. It will be interesting to see whether the Colts can nullify the Jags' high-powered running game. Peyton Manning looked back on track last week, throwing two touchdowns and no interceptions, in a win against the Titans.

Eagles running back LeSean McCoy has been instrumental to Philadelphia's success this season. McCoy, who was drafted to replace Brian Westbrook, has shown glimpses of greatness. The Philly back averaged 9.3 yards a carry last week against the Dallas defense and poses a major threat in the passing game. Michael Vick has been more than impressive and has Philly fans dreaming of a Super Bowl this year. The Eagles won the Week 11 meeting between the two teams.

Last week, Aaron Rodgers was knocked out of the game with a concussion and was replaced by Matt Flynn. Flynn, who led the Louisiana State to a national championship in 2007, has been in the Green Bay West Coast system for a while. But he made Packers fans realize how important Rodgers is to their success. The only way the Packers have a chance at Foxborough this week is if Rodgers returns. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has looked as precise as he has in years. During the past eight games, Brady has thrown 19 touchdowns and zero interceptions.

NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23356056 New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday, 4:15 p.m. ET, CBS) New+York+Jets+at+Pittsburgh+Steelers+%28Sunday%2C+4%3A15+p.m.+ET%2C+CBS%29 NFL

Have the Jets run out of gas? After a Week 13 meltdown on Monday night, the Jets haven’t looked the same. Mark Sanchez’s offense hasn’t operated a scoring drive in nine quarters. Head coach Rex Ryan admitted in last week’s postgame conference he didn’t have full confidence in the former first-round draft pick, but decided to keep him in the game. Traveling to Pittsburgh to play a hot Steelers team will be tough, but I expect the Jets to bring their best game Sunday.

The Miami Dolphins earned a huge division win against the New York Jets last week. The Dolphins defense was relentless, getting to the quarterback six times. Linebacker Cameron Wake leads the league with 14 sacks and is a dark horse candidate for AFC defensive player of the year. The question is whether Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne will be effective against the Bills secondary. Although the Dolphins proved they can win without Henne’s arm, this game could be a shootout.

Darren McFadden has exploded onto the scene this season and last week had one of his best performances. McFadden ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns and had three receptions for 86 yards and a score. The Broncos defense will attempt to limit the former Arkansas running back but has allowed the second-most rushing yards in the league.

NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23357149 Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS) Cleveland+Browns+at+Cincinnati+Bengals+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+CBS%29 NFL

Browns running back Peyton Hillis eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark last week for the first time in his short career. Although his milestone achievement was stained by the team’s loss, Hillis has been a pleasant surprise. Hillis will be given ample opportunity to run the ball against the Bengals, who rank in the league's bottom 10 in rush defense. Cincinnati has dropped its past 10 games, and head coach Marvin Lewis has lost the team's attention.

NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23341161 Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX) Washington+Redskins+at+Dallas+Cowboys+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

Rumblings out of Washington have been that quarterback Rex Grossman might replace Donovan McNabb this week against the Cowboys. Although the Redskins offense sputtered in the second half of last week’s game, McNabb did get his team in position to tie the score, but a bad snap doomed the Redskins. The Cowboys also are coming off a heartbreaker, losing to the Eagles 30-27.

NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23357037 Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX) Detroit+Lions+at+Tampa+Bay+Buccaneers+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have beaten only teams with losing records. This week’s game looks to meet that formula. Although the Lions bring their best effort each week, quarterback Drew Stanton will have trouble against the Buccaneers secondary, even if that staunch group is missing standout cornerback Aqib Talib, who was put on injured reserve Dec. 6. The Lions are coming off a huge win against the Green Bay Packers. Detroit's young talent on defense is its 2010 highlight.

Two five-win teams meet this week in Tennessee, but there is an underlying subplot football fans have been waiting for. In Week 12, Andre Johnson and Cortland Finnegan got into a scuffle. Now, they meet again. The Texans, who fell short of a miraculous Monday night comeback, have lost six of their past seven games but are loaded on the offensive side of the ball. Running back Arian Foster leads the league in rushing and is in reach of a rushing title.

NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23356055 Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (Monday, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN) Chicago+Bears+at+Minnesota+Vikings+%28Monday%2C+8%3A30+p.m.+ET%2C+ESPN%29 NFL

After last Monday night’s loss to the New York Giants, the Minnesota Vikings have been officially eliminated from postseason contention. That’s the least of their problems. The Vikes have a Monday night showdown approaching with the Chicago Bears, without a healthy quarterback or undamaged stadium. The Bears are first place in the North but are coming off a 36-7 blowout loss to the New England Patriots. Chicago looks to bounce back and heat up going into the playoffs.

NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23357036 Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET, FOX) Atlanta+Falcons+at+Seattle+Seahawks+%28Sunday%2C+4%3A05+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

Matt Hasselbeck had an atrocious performance against the 49ers last week. The veteran quarterback was baited into throwing four interceptions, and the Seahawks let an opportunity to beat a divisional foe slip by. Seahawks rookie free safety Earl Thomas has lived up to his lofty draft status, ranking sixth in the league in interceptions (five). Seattle will need every bit of help from its secondary this week as it faces the Matt Ryan-Roddy White combo. The pair have hooked up for nine touchdowns, and White leads the NFL with 1,219 receiving yards.

NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23356053 Kansas City Chiefs at St. Louis Rams (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS) Kansas+City+Chiefs+at+St.+Louis+Rams+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+CBS%29 NFL

How important is Matt Cassel to the Kansas City offense? According to last week’s performance, he is vital to the Chiefs success. Cassel, who was held out because of an appendectomy, has been remarkable in his past four games, throwing 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions. The Chiefs’ running game, averaging 165 yards a game, ranks first in the NFL. Jamaal Charles was rewarded with a five-year contract extension last week. The Rams are fighting for their playoff lives, which should make for some physical, after-the-whistle football.

NFL 5 43 Week 15 NFL Blitz 23356050 Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX) Arizona+Cardinals+at+Carolina+Panthers+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

The Cardinals finally got back in the win column last week against the Denver Broncos, winning 43-13. Arizona was led by the running attack of Tim Hightower. The third-year running back carried the ball 18 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns. The Cardinals defense disguised its coverage and intercepted quarterback Kyle Orton's passes three times. Carolina’s running game has improved the past three weeks with the return of running back Jonathan Stewart.
