NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31469425 Houston Texans @ New England Patriots (Monday, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN) Houston+Texans+%40+New+England+Patriots+%28Monday%2C+8%3A30+p.m.+ET%2C+ESPN%29 NFL

Both teams enter the game with a six-game winning streak and if the playoffs were to start today, the Texans would be the No. 1 seed while the Patriots would be the No. 2 seed in the AFC. It’s no coincidence that these teams are so successful this year as they lead the league in scoring offense and in turnover differential ... two obvious statistical indicators of success. Tom Brady (left) has 10 division titles as a starter, the most by a quarterback since the merger in 1970, but Matt Schaub (right) is no pushover. He has won 15 of his last 16 starts, but is just 1-3 on Monday Night Football. Pick: Patriots.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31469422 Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers (Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC) Detroit+Lions+%40+Green+Bay+Packers+%28Sunday%2C+8%3A20+p.m.+ET%2C+NBC%29 NFL

The Lions haven’t had back-to-back winning seasons since 1994-95 and with eight losses already this year, they have ensured they will fail to do it this year. The Lions have lost four straight and Matthew Stafford (left) is 0-4 in his career against the Packers while Aaron Rodgers (right) is 7-1 against the Lions in his. Rodgers only loss to the Lions was in 2010 when he was knocked out of the game with a concussion in the first half. I’ll side with history on this one. Pick: Packers.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31464573 New Orleans Saints @ New York Giants (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET, FOX) New+Orleans+Saints+%40+New+York+Giants+%28Sunday%2C+4%3A25+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

These two teams have combined to win three of the last five Super Bowls but are fighting for their playoff lives in 2012. The Giants lead the division by one game over the Cowboys and the Redskins, but whatever teams fail to win the division will most likely be out of the wild-card race as well. The Saints need to win out just to reach 9-7, and even then will be a real stretch to move on. Just 10 of the 40 wild-card teams since 2002 have made it in with a 9-7 record. The Giants will play the 11-1 Falcons and then the 9-3 Ravens in the next two weeks, so they better steal a win against the 5-7 Saints while they can. Pick: Giants.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463902 Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET, FOX) Arizona+Cardinals+%40+Seattle+Seahawks+%28Sunday%2C+4%3A25+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

The Seahawks got their ever-important road win last week against the Bears, but their home-field advantage will be on full display on Sunday. Not only are they 5-0 at home this season, but the Cardinals are 1-5 on the road this year and a terrible 4-18 on the road since 2010. The Seahawks have yet to win a divisional game this year going 0-3 so far in the West, but they should have no problem getting their first against the Cardinals on Sunday. Pick: Seahawks.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463900 Miami Dolphins @ San Francisco 49ers (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET, CBS) Miami+Dolphins+%40+San+Francisco+49ers+%28Sunday%2C+4%3A05+p.m.+ET%2C+CBS%29 NFL

When playing the 49ers on Sunday, the Dolphins ought to look across the field and mimic the game plan they utilize for Colin Kaepernick. They have a quarterback that isn’t all that different from Kaepernick but refuse to use his athletic ability. Ryan Tannehill (pictured) was a receiver at Texas A&M for his first two seasons but only has 82 rushing yards on the entire season for the Dolphins. They may want to develop him into a drop-back passer, but in the meantime, they need to get him out of the pocket and let him make plays with his legs as well. He only has seven touchdown passes in the system they are currently using. Pick: 49ers.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463897 Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, 1 p.m,. ET, FOX) Chicago+Bears+%40+Minnesota+Vikings+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m%2C.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

The Bears lead the NFL in takeaways and were at it once again last week. Charles Tillman forced a fumble on Marshawn Lynch, marking the 300th takeaway for this defense during Lovie Smith’s tenure as head coach. They should have multiple chances to increase that number with Christian Ponder (pictured) as the opposing quarterback. Ponder has thrown 11 interceptions on the year with three coming in the last two games, one of which was a terrible red-zone interception that was gift-wrapped perfectly for the defender and became the momentum changer in the loss to the Packers last week. Pick: Bears.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31469427 New York Jets @ Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, 1 p.m., CBS) New+York+Jets+%40+Jacksonville+Jaguars+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.%2C+CBS%29+ NFL

Rex Ryan has named Mark Sanchez (left) his starting quarterback once again, but it will be interesting to see how short of a leash he is wearing on Sunday. If he struggles early, will Ryan once again pull him in favor of Greg McElroy (center) or will he instead go with Tim Tebow (right) during somewhat of a homecoming game for him. Jacksonville is removing the tarp that typically covers the upper deck in hopes of selling tickets to Tebow Nation but he may never actually see the field. He is recovering from broken ribs and with the way McElroy brought the Jets back last weekend, he may be their third-best option. Pick: Jaguars.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463896 Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS) Tennessee+Titans+%40+Indianapolis+Colts+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+CBS%29 NFL

Andrew Luck (pictured) is tied with Ben Roethlisberger and former Titans quarterback Vince Young for the most game-winning drives for a rookie quarterback since 1960 with five. One of those five happened in Week 8 when Luck led the Colts on a 14-play, 80-yard drive to tie the game with just 3:28 remaining and then won the game with a nine-play, 80-yard drive in overtime on a touchdown pass to Vick Ballard. The Titans are just 0-4 against AFC South opponents this year and with a loss on Sunday, the Titans will be officially eliminated from the playoffs. Pick: Colts.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463898 San Diego Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS) San+Diego+Chargers+%40+Pittsburgh+Steelers+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+CBS%29 NFL

Ben Roethlisberger (pictured) and Philip Rivers were both selected in the 2011 draft with Big Ben going eight picks after Rivers was selected No. 2 overall. Big Ben has 19 more career wins, two more playoff appearances and two more Super Bowl championships. Roethlisberger will start for the first time in three weeks and that will be significant as the Steelers average eight more points, 50 more yards and have four fewer turnovers with him in the lineup as opposed to him on the sidelines. The Chargers may be playing for Norv Turner and AJ Smith’s jobs on Sunday, but if history is any indicator, it isn’t looking very good. The Chargers are an all-time 0-14 when playing in Pittsburgh and have just six wins compared to 21 losses overall. Pick: Steelers.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463895 Kansas City Chiefs @ Cleveland Browns (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS) Kansas+City+Chiefs+%40+Cleveland+Browns+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+CBS%29 NFL

Romeo Crennel (right) was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns when they drafted Brady Quinn (left) with the 22nd overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. Quinn was just 3-9 as a starter over the course of three seasons before being traded to Denver and eventually landing in Kansas City. The Browns are coming off back-to-back wins and have a chance to go on a three-game winning streak. The last time the Chiefs won three in a row was when they won the final four games of the 2009 season ... Brady Quinn started two of those four games. Pick: Browns.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463891 Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers (Sunday, 1 p.m., FOX) Atlanta+Falcons+%40+Carolina+Panthers+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.%2C+FOX%29 NFL

These teams are meeting for the second time this season with the Falcons winning the Week 4 matchup 30-28. It took all 60 minutes for the Falcons in that game as they were trailing the Panthers by one point with just 59 second remaining before Matt Ryan (pictured) connected with Roddy White on a 59-yard heave. It was a great play on behalf of Ryan and White, but had the Carolina defender timed his jump better, the Falcons could have easily won the game. Regardless, that was just one of Ryan’s lead-leaguing 22 game-winning drives since entering the league in 2008. Pick: Falcons.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31469420 Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX) Philadelphia+Eagles+%40+Tampa+Bay+Buccaneers+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

Bryce Brown (left) is the third-youngest player in the NFL and in his first two career starts, he rushed for 347 yards and four touchdowns. That is the second-highest rushing total in consecutive games in Eagles history and the third-best total for a rookie making his first two NFL starts. During those same two weeks, the Bucs rookie running back Doug Martin (right) has struggled with just 53 yards per game and the Bucs lost both games. In Weeks 8-11, Martin was averaging 148 yards on the ground and not surprisingly, the Bucs were 4-0 during that span. Look for Martin and the Bucs to get back on track this weekend. Pick: Bucs.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31469421 St. Louis Rams @ Buffalo Bills (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX) St.+Louis+Rams+%40+Buffalo+Bills+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

Since being suspended for violating team rules, rookies Janoris Jenkins (left) and Chris Givens (right) have been on a tear. Jenkins’ three takeaways all returned for touchdowns in the last two games make him the first player to do so since 1940. His fumble recovery for a touchdown was the momentum swing the Rams needed in the eventual overtime victory over the 49ers last week. As for Givens, he has 16 catches for 207 yards in the last two games. Maybe the one-game absence was just what the doctor ordered. Pick: Rams.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463893 Dallas Cowboys @ Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX) Dallas+Cowboys+%40+Cincinnati+Bengals+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+FOX%29 NFL

Tony Romo (pictured) became the Cowboys all-time leader in touchdown passes, surpassing hall of famer Troy Aikman last weekend. For all the criticism Romo takes, he has a better career completion percentage than Aikman, a better passer rating and is just 8,448 yards shy of his career passing yards. Romo has led the Cowboys to wins in three of their last four, but those wins came against teams with a combined record of 10-26 and they have just one win against an opponent with a winning record. The Bengals, owners of a winning record, are riding a four-game winning streak and that streak should remain intact after Sunday. Pick: Bengals.

NFL 5 81 Billick: NFL Week Look Ahead 31463899 Baltimore Ravens @ Washington Redskins (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS) Baltimore+Ravens+%40+Washington+Redskins+%28Sunday%2C+1+p.m.+ET%2C+CBS%29 NFL

While it is only a 40-minute bus trip for the Ravens from M&T Bank to FedEx field, it is still a road game and the Ravens have really struggled on the road all season. The offense is averaging just 16.5 points on the road compared to 34 points at home and is averaging 100 fewer yards in road games. Joe Flacco (pictured) is only completing 55 percent of his passes and 206 yards per game on the road this season and was 10-21 for only 134 yards in his only career game at Washington. As for the Redskins, they will look to take advantage of a beat-up Baltimore defense and RG3 is just the guy to do it. His 72 yards rushing last week gave him the most rushing yards of any rookie quarterback, surpassing Cam Newton by eight yards. Pick: Redskins.
