News: Blount will be suspended for one game for a violation of the NFL's substance-abuse policy, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
Impact: This stems from Blount's August arrest for marijuana possession, back when he was with the Steelers. His legal case was resolved in December, and the Patriots probably aren't surprised that they won't have Blount in Week 1. Jonas Gray and Brandon Bolden could handle the early-down work in Blount's absence, assuming they're still on the roster.
