Why did DeSean Jackson miss the start of Redskins workouts?
Well, it appears the big free-agent acqusition had a prior engagement that couldn't be changed. Interesting.
Hey, where is DeSean Jackson?

NFL teams with new head coaches were allowed to open up offseason workouts on Monday, a full two weeks before every other team.
Count the Redskins -- with new coach Jay Gruden -- as one of those teams. The only problem? DeSean Jackson wasn't there. Nope, he's on vacation.
Now, before everyone jumps down his throat, there's a perfectly good reason. Jackson planned a trip while he was still a member of the Eagles and didn't know that he would be released.
We can compare this to civilian life. When you start a new job, a wide majority of employers will understand if you had a family vacation or something similar planned soon after your start date. Most often, that employer will work with you on that.
So there's really nothing to see here. Jackson will be back with the team next week when his trip is over. And by the looks of it, it seems D-Jax is having quite the time.
