Mr. Schrager brings up a good point. Flynn has been underwhelming this preseason … how much longer will they continue to roll with him? Backup QB Terrelle Pryor is still very raw, but he did play well on Friday night.
Pryor led four scoring drives, two of which went for touchdowns: He ran one in from 25 yards out and then found Nick Kasa for a 19-yard strike. When he left the game in the fourth quarter, the Raiders had cut the Bears’ lead to 27-20. Not bad.
Will we see a repeat performance of 2012, when Flynn was beaten out for the Seahawks quarterback job by Russell Wilson? At this point, you have to say that it’s very possible.
