Jaguars do something special for their retiring veteran
Well, on Sunday against the Titans in Meester's final home game, the Jaguars did just that. Fulfilling a fantasy of offensive linemen everywhere, the team lined Meester up as an eligible receiver and threw him a screen pass:
Boom, that's a first down right there. The home crowd loved it, giving Meester a standing ovation. What's more, that set up Jacksonville's first touchdown of the game shortly after. Now that's cool.
Mr. Meester (tribute band name!), you've done yourself proud all these years. It's nice to see you get a chance to run the rock just once.
